Precious Joy: Gen. 2.4

RIP Goldie

Cortney is so handsome when he plays his guitar. It’s clear that he loves music.

With all of the chaos of the past few days with two parties and training the toddlers, we neglected Goldie and she died! I gave her a proper watery sendoff.

It was time to teach Ayce and Ava to walk. After some time, we let the twins use the potty and fed them in their high chairs. They were both tired, so we put them in their cribs for a nap.

Cortney took my hand and lead me under the mistletoe. He asked for a kiss! He’s so romantic.

Cortney had a birthday. He is now an adult. He told me he is happy and content with his life.

After a nap, I decided to adopt a kitten. Wallace English brought her to us.

We named her Ayla. The first thing she did when she arrived was to watch Cortney play his guitar.

A short while later, she climbed into her bed to sleep. She’s such a cute little Siamese.

The next morning, Ayla took her toy mouse outside to play with it. The mouse is almost as big as she is!

Cortney has mastered guitar. He was playing his original guitar in the basement.

Cortney and I have been discussing having another child. I think it’s time to try again.

I bought some more books for the twins to read. They seem to be enjoying the stories. Perhaps they’ll learn something as well.

Today is my birthday. I was excited at first, but now I’m not feeling completely satisfied with my life. Perhaps another child will help.

Today, I finished my fourth wood sculpture. I sculpted this one in honor of Goldie.

It was worth §151, but Cortney asked me not to sell it. Cortney moved it into the corner in the basement and added lighting. It looks great there.
