Precious Joy: Gen. 2.5

The Twin Bond is Strong

I carved my fifth wooden statue. It was the kraken. I thought I did a pretty good job.

Ayce and Ava are as close as twins can be. Their twin bond is strong.

I was at the junkyard collecting scrap to make metal sculptures when I discovered that I was pregnant.

Apparently, I inherited my insanity from my father, Grady. He came down while I was sculpting and started arguing with himself, just like I do.

My metal sculpture isn’t bad for a first attempt. I hope my future ones aren’t as rusty.

It’s Ava’s birthday! She’s going to be a child.

Ava developed a fondness for books.

Ayce wasn’t far behind. Ava was celebrating with him.

Ayce is serious with no sense of humor.

With two children in the house, it was time to remodel the basement. We took out a loan for §6,000. We added three bedrooms and a bathroom.

Ayla celebrated her birthday and is no longer a kitten. She is a natural born hunter. I wonder what she will come home with.

She decided to introduce herself to Ayce.

I told Cortney that I was pregnant again. He was thrilled!

Ava told me that she wants to be an illustrious author. I could tell that she was serious, so I encouraged her to learn everything she could about writing and drawing.

I gave her a sketchbook. It was way too big for her, so she put it on the desk in her room until she is older.

I bought her an easel of her own, and she started painting immediately.

Cortney finished writing Cortney Forsythe Quotes. He was excited to learn that he would be receiving §399 in royalties.

I saw Ayce going into Ava’s room and was curious, so I watched him. He checked for monsters under the bed. I’m not sure what I saw, but it looked like an arm coming out from under her bed!

Ayce must have seen it too. He ran out of there like his pants were on fire.
