Toddler Birthdays
I fed the twins and gave them some loving. Once they were tucked back into their beds, I went to my easel determined to finish my second painting. When I completed it, I realized that it was from my memories of being abducted. The painting sold for §73.

When I finished the painting, I had waffles for dinner and headed for bed. I was awakened by the twins needing attention. I was feeding Ayce when Cortney returned from the gym, so he fed Ava. When they were tucked into bed, we went to sleep. Suddenly, I was wide awake and running outside. I can’t believe they came back to abduct me again!

My mother visited and read The Wight Wall for a while. Then she napped on the couch before disappearing. I had to put the book back on the shelf as she had left it on the dining room table.

We were able to sleep in until 8 this morning before Ayce’s crying woke us up.

Cortney and I ate breakfast together. I had waffles, while he ate Brain Freeze a la mode.

Cortney gifted me a tablet this morning! I had a desire to learn inventing, so after breakfast, I ordered a copy of Inventing Vol. 1: Nuts and Bolts. When it arrived I sat down to read it.

Cortney changed the twins’ diapers before playing computer games for a while. Then he said he had to go to the stadium to meet someone and would be back soon.

While he was gone, I used the restroom and took a much-needed shower. I resumed reading my inventing book. When Cortney returned from the stadium, he sat down to read Totally Preggers: An Expecting Mother’s Tale. He mentioned the other day that he would like to have more children. He is family-oriented, so he wants a big family. I think we should wait for a while longer.

Today is Ayce and Ava’s birthday. Cortney has invited a few people he knows to the party. It starts at 6 this evening. We moved the stereo tables near the couch and purchased cakes for the occasion. My babies are going to be toddlers!

Cortney finished reading the pregancy book an hour before the party was scheduled to start. The guests arrived with a feast! Someone brought waffles. Another one brought deep fried turkey leg. Meredith Servis brought deep fried burrito. Tabatha Phelps brought forever alone calzone. Bobbi Isaacs brought pumpin pie. Lizette Straton brought autumn salad.

Bobbi Isaacs and Malcolm Atwood were dancing together.

It was time for Ayce’s birthday!

And now it was Ava’s turn.

Ayce has deep brown eyes like his grandpa, Grady Forsythe. He has his father’s nose and a bright smile. Ava is the spitting image of myself as a toddler.
Osvaldo Phelps danced with Meridith Servis while his pregnant wife Tabatha washed the dirty plates. Meredith’s husband, Adam, was oblivious to the dancing couple. Adam is on the right.

Elisha Rollins, the repair person, helped celebrate and grabbed a piece of Ava’s cake. She finally worked on fixing the broken shower when she finished her cake.

The guests started leaving at 22:00. I picked up another stack of plates and washed them in the bathroom sink as the kitchen sink was out of commission and Cortney had to repair it.

When everyone had left, I found Ayce playing with Jelly Bean and Ava playing with Hesper.

We put away the leftovers and cleaned up after the party. It wasn’t too bad as several guests did dishes throughout the night. The party was a modest success. The guests felt good about having attended.
