Ayce or Ava?
I was cleaning the kitchen sink when the pain came over me. It was mild at first, but soon grew in intensity.

The contractions got closer together. I can’t believe how much this hurts.

I cried out to Cortney and he called for a taxi to take us to the hospital. I was shocked that they charged us §20 each for the trip!

I managed to make it into the hospital on my own, but needed a wheelchair as soon as I got to the lobby.

Cortney was there to hold my hand. The labor and delivery took some time, but soon we had a son.
Precious Joy: Cortney, we have a boy! Isn’t Ayce perfect?
Cortney: I think he has your eyes.
Precious Joy: The baby’s eye color isn’t clear for several months after birth.
Dr: Feinstein: You’re not done here. There’s another baby on the way.
Cortney and Precious Joy: What?!
After a few minutes, our daughter was born.
Cortney: Well hello there, Ava! Aren’t you beautiful!
Precious Joy: They both seem to have all their fingers and toes.
Cortney: That’s good to hear.
After the babies were cleaned up and dressed, I took a shower, and we were free to go. I carried Ayce, and Cortney held Ava. We exited the hospital with two tiny bundles of joy. Why am I not happy?
Ayce is a Libra, disciplined, and brave. He likes epic music, firecracker tofu, and the color Irish green.

Ava, also a Libra, is a loner, and easily impressed. She likes R&B music, frogs legs, and the color pink.

When we arrived home, we gave both babies bottles and some love and snuggles. I put Ayce in the only crib and Cortney put Ava on the carpet. I wasn’t too happy about it, but what were we to do until another crib could be delivered?

As soon as the second crib was assembled, I placed Ava into it. She went right to sleep.

My father, Grady Forsythe, came to visit. He checked out my painting…

…and my box of seeds.

He had a little yogurt but didn’t finish it…

…so I did. I hate when food goes to waste.

Cortney made pancakes. I believe this is the first time he has cooked anything since we were married.

I spent a bit of time playing with the twins. Ava seemed to enjoy it…

…as did Ayce.

Cortney just finished his fifth book. It was a humor novel entitled Spitting Cherry Pits. He will receive royalties in the amount of §396.

Cortney then spent some quality time with Ava and Ayce. He loves them so much.

I finished sculpting a nectar rack, my third wood carving. It sold for §825. I’ve also been given the title of Obelisk Architect by the town council and received a §500 award!

The babies both received imaginary friend dolls from their grandmother Gayle Grimm-Forsythe. I didn’t realize she survived the disaster in Glenvale County. Why didn’t she keep in touch with me? Why didn’t they send me to her when my parents were killed?
