Careless Encounter
Lucas:
Jonboy has developed a love for books from playing video games of all things. It must be all the gaming guides he reads.
Gavin’s second novel, Dreaming of You, will receive §52 in royalties. He is working on his next drama, Martin the Beggar.
Rhapsody modified her career outfit and hair. I like the change.
Dad, at home on the tractor, mastered the gardening skill.
Gavin and I decided to hang out together in the hot tub.
Jonboy was promoted to Ingredient Taster at Flying V’s Coffeehouse.
Autumn’s mother Layla Patel has remarried after the death of her husband, Roscoe. Her new husband is Bob Hanover. His family has moved into her house.
I wrote a love letter to Autumn. I didn’t have much room as Gavin was working on his novel.
Autumn,
I’m sorry we didn’t spend much time together yesterday. I’ll make it up to you next time. I love you more than I can say.
xoxoxo
Love,
Lucas
Gavin finished Martin the Beggar, and it is a best-seller! The royalty check he received was for §547. Way to go, Gavin! So proud of my little brother. He’s hard at work on his next drama, The Cougar.
Gavin’s laptop took up so much space on our little table that we invested in a larger table. Now there’s enough room for us all to eat together. Gavin has already claimed his place.
Autumn invited me out on a date. We met at the Alryne Community Garden in town. We hugged and teen, Marsha Bennett, looked on.
As soon as Autumn and I stepped apart, Marsha interrupted us to ask Autumn her birth sign. I decided to call Gustave Desmarais in France. We had a nice chat.
Marsha decided she had better do her homework, and found a place to sit on the ground. Then Ana Gray was trying to interject herself into our conversation.
Fortunately, she was distracted by one of the Hanover’s cats and turned away. We managed to flirt for a few minutes.
I asked Autumn about her day.
When Joelle Gray interrupted us, I had had enough and decided to take her back to my place.
When we got into my truck, she scooted over and took my hand. I squeezed it tightly and placed her hand in her lap so I could concentrate on my driving.
Lucas: As much as I want to hold your hand, I need both of mine free to drive safely. When we get home, we can hold hands.
Autumn pouting: All right. I love you.
Lucas: I love you too, sweetheart.
When we walked into the kitchen, we held hands.
Then I invited her to stay over and she said yes.
We wanted some privacy, so we headed for my bedroom. We had a bit of fun, and suddenly she’s throwing on her clothes.
Autumn: I’m going to be late for work! I’ve got to go.
Lucas: I didn’t realize you had to work tonight. I’m sorry you couldn’t spend the night.
Autumn: Me, too. I love you! Goodbye.
