One More Sim Day
Week 5: Tuesday
Christian:
Morning came too early after our late night, but it was worth every moment of lost sleep. I still can’t believe she agreed to go steady with me.
Loni was sleeping so peacefully with Angel on the bed beside her. I wished that I was sleeping there instead.
I let Loni sleep in and went outside to take care of the chickens and bees (§5).
Charlotte followed me outside and watched the bees with great interest. After a while she took off across the yard, sniffing the ground as she went.
I went inside to make breakfast.
Loni:
I woke up later than usual. Christian was already up. He made waffles, but he burned them.
Loni: Christian, it was so sweet of you to let me sleep in and to make breakfast.
Christian: But they’re ruined.
Loni: There’s more in the fridge. We can reheat those. After breakfast, we can go down and take care of the garden.
Christian: I made another batch of Marsden-Payne Nectar. It should be ready.
Then Loni kissed me. I think I’m in love with her.
~texansky~ Loni looked right into the camera as if to say, “I really like this guy!” My instant reaction was, “What’s not to like?”
They sat down to breakfast.
Christian: I was wondering. What do you think about adding cows to the farm?
Loni: I thought about it before, but I had way too much to do already. Now that you’re here, I think we could look to see if there are any cows available. How much would it cost to build a barn to hold them?
Christian: I’ll call around and find out. I’ll get the dishes and clean up.
Loni: I’m headed down to the garden.
Christian: I’ll join you shortly.
While recycling the burnt waffles, I noticed that the laundry basket was full. I started a load of laundry before joining Loni.
Charlotte had fleas, so she used the pet hygienator to get rid of them.
Loni:
I collected the nectar from the machine and added it to the nectar shelf.
Then I tended the garden. I was about halfway done when Christian came down to help. He had already run the tractor to fertilize, water, and harvest the crops.
When we finished, we sat down to read books until bedtime. I chose a romance novel, and Christian went for a sci-fi book. While I was sitting on the couch, Angel brought me a rare Spiny Turtle which I sold for §959.
We sold another §24 at Aleister’s.
~texansky~ I bought another large recycle bin for §50. They were carrying recycling all the way down to the sub-basement.
~texansky~ I just watched the baby chicks hatch! There were a bunch of white ovals on the ramp that looked like eggs, so I moved closer to investigate. This is what I saw next!
Loni filled the pet bowl and went to bed.
~texansky~ If I didn’t know better, I’d think Angel had slept there all day.
Balance at the end of the day §12,951.
Loan amount: §5,000 with §50 interest payable every Friday until the loan is paid off.
