This site (texanskylegacies.com) has had visitors from 44 different countries on the map since 7/1/24:

There are currently posts through 11/22/24. I am taking a break to work on Alryne Valley. Alryne Valley Homes is unpopulated and Alryne Valley Sims is populated.

(This challenge was posted on the old forums but didn’t carry over. Fortunately, I had a text document containing the content of every post published and I had saved the pictures on my external drive. With this, I was able to recreate the posts.)

Challenges:

I have created a Camping Challenge under My Challenges. The goal is to start with the prepared lot and §50, and build a fully furnished 3-bedroom home in 21 days.

Created Worlds:

Alryne Valley is my first world creation. It is a medium-sized town located on a large map. I own the whole store, so it is possible that you may be missing content when you load the game. The game will either replace the missing content with a similar item or removed it. I can’t guarantee it will be a similar item. I’ve seen ivy replaced with the train set before.

It comes with two save games with residential lots in place. If you have a slower computer, I would recommend removing at least 15 of the residential homes to reduce or avoid lag.

The world does contain a rabbit hole rug in the science facility. If you don’t have the Jinx – Raven Shadow rabbit hole rugs, you can replace the current science facility with the one from Sunset Valley (don’t forget to use buydebug on the lot to remove the spawners before you bulldoze it). The science facility from Sunset Valley is the same size lot, so don’t bulldoze the empty lot or you will lose the assigned address.

If you are a builder, this is the world for you as there are 64 residential lots in the world, and the majority of them are empty. With the funds provided for a single Sim, he/she could move into any of the single-wide mobile homes located at Alryne Court. A couple with funds for a family of two with no pets could move into the lakeside cabin if they purchase it unfurnished. The double-wides cost more than a family of two could afford without using the freerealestate cheat.

If you prefer not to take the time to add the individual residential homes, there are two saved games that contain residential homes. One comes with Sims, and the second has no Sims so you can populate the game with your own Sims. Click here to find the Alryne Valley download links. If you have a slower computer, it is recommended to remove about 15 homes in the world to reduce or avoid lag.

Neglected or Abandoned Stories:

Brad McKnight – Nothing is Free has been postponed. There are 70 chapters.
I believe there are a few more buildings to add to Alryne Valley for the challenge to be complete.
I will return to this challenge if the most recent save can be found and loaded.

Servis Random Legacy Alphabetacy with the founder Adam Servis is currently neglected. I have not made any posts on this story yet. I do plan to return to it in the future.

My First PlantSim has been abandoned. I do not have the save game for this story.

Testing Alryne Valley has been abandoned. I have completed Alryne Valley and am no longer testing it so there will be no further posts here. I do use Alryne Valley for some games that I am currently playing, so you may see it featured in current game-play. Precious Joy started over in Alryne Valley.
