This post has been replaced with an updated version. See Download Alryne Valley.
I have created a world called Alryne Valley for The Sims 3. For more details on the history of the world and to view pictures, please see the previous posts under My Worlds -> Alryne Valley.
I have also created a new blog site to showcase my creations ~texansky~ creations. Alryne Valley was the first to be featured. There are new pictures of the different neighborhoods showing the homes placed in the world.
Alryne Valley is basically complete and in the testing phase. It is a medium-sized town located on a large map so that I could prevent the cameras from seeing beyond the borders.
If you are a builder, this is the world for you as there are 64 residential lots in the world, and the majority of them are empty. A single Sim could move into any of the single-wide mobile homes located at Alryne Court.
The lakeside cabin lot costs §17,246 unfurnished and §25,571 furnished. A couple could purchase the cabin unfurnished without cheats.
The most recent version is available on Mediafire and is listed below with previous versions listed in order from newest to oldest.
Alryne Valley – Beta 1.2 – released 8/3/23:
Store Content Warning: I own the whole store with all expansions and stuff packs, so there may be content which I used that you don’t have in your game. These items should be replaced by something else by the game. I can’t guarantee that it will be the same type of item that is in the uploaded world.
Custom Content Warning: There is a Jinx – Raven Shadow rabbit hole door inside the lobby for the science facility. If you don’t have (or don’t want) these rabbit holes installed in your game, you may replace my science facility with the Landgraab Science Facility from Sunset Valley. Don’t forget to use buydebug to remove the fishing spawners before bulldozing my lot to prepare for placing the Landgraab lot.
Click the link to download Alryne_Valley_beta_1-2. This zip file contains only the Sims3Pack for the world of Alryne Valley.
If you have already installed a previous version of Alryne Valley in your game, you will need to uninstall it in order to install the updated version. I have included the beta version number in the world description for reference. If your world doesn’t have a version number in the description, you will want to uninstall it as it is likely either the alpha or beta 1.0 version.
For those who prefer not to build homes, I have also provided two save files for Alryne Valley to go with the beta 1.2 world.
Alryne_Valley_Lots_Only_beta_1-2.zip contains the world with 49 of the 64 residential lots developed with either homes from the games and expansions, or my personal builds. There are 15 remaining empty residential lots. 41 community lots have also been placed with 6 remaining empty commercial lots. This save file would be ideal if you want to use your own Sims to populate the world.
Alryne_Valley_Populated_beta_1-2.zip contains the above save file populated with sixteen families. Twelve households were generated by Nraas Story Progression (Flanagan, Loyd, Mann, Mauldin, McLaughlin, Proffitt, Ramirez, Reedy, Smallwood, Stein, Tyler, and Vera), and four are my creations (Amethyst, Forsythe, Random Hotties, and Three’s Company). This save file would be best for those who want to just install the world and jump right into playing without a lot of preparation.
Updates:
There were only two changes made to this file.
I replanted some floating palm trees along the coast.
I’ve been having issues with Sims getting stuck inside the unrouteable area in the northwest corner of the map where the road ends. I checked and the unrouteable paint covers that area. I removed it and repainted it, then rebuilt the routing data. I am hoping this fixes the issue.
I didn’t find any other issues with the world while playing.
Alryne Valley – Beta 1.1 – released 5/28/23:
Click the link to download Alryne_Valley_beta_1-1. This is a zip file containing Sims3Pack files for the world, 11 homes, and 3 custom community lots. These homes and lots are included in the world file. I am including them in case you would like to add any of the homes to your library.
The world file is Alryne Valley.Sims3Pack. Unzip the files and add the ones you want to install to the \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. Use the launcher to install the world (and lots) to your game.

Alryne Valley – Beta 1.0 – recalled May 2023:
This version has been retired. When I reinstalled everything from disks, I didn’t have Island Paradise and Into the Future. This resulted in the outhouses disappearing from Sunrise Beach and the palm trees along the coast being substituted with oak trees. I didn’t discover this right away. I have removed it from Mediafire.

Updates: I corrected the spelling of mountain in the world description.
Since I installed the game from disks, I currently do not own Into the Future or Island Paradise, so Sunrise Beach is incomplete in this version, as the outhouses are missing. There may be other items missing from the alpha version of Alryne Valley.
As soon as I am able to install the last two expansions, I will be modifying Sunrise Beach to add the facilities. Also, for some reason, my Sim is not able to interact with the bar on the beach. I will need to research this further.
Two trees near the lakeside cabin were floating. These have been properly planted. I also changed the paved road leading back to the cabin to a dirt road.
Mobile homes have been installed at the Alryne Court mobile home park. There are three one-bedroom, one-bath, single-wide homes, and three two-bedroom, one-bath, double-wide homes.
Orchid Way now has two brand-new homes. Orchid Manor is a two-bedroom, single-bath, two-story home located across from Aleister’s Elixirs and Sundries. Marquis Corner is a two-bedroom, two-bath, single-story home with a basement located across the street from the pool. Both homes have one double bed, two single beds, and a crib.
Alryne Valley – Alpha – released 3/26/23:
This is the first copy of the world that I made available to the public. Click the link to download Alryne Valley – Alpha to try it out for yourself.
Map images of Wimborne County and Alryne Valley:

The northwest section of the map: Farmers Close with three 64×64 lots and an abandoned farmhouse is located at the top of the map. Llama Memorial Stadium is at the bottom. The road to the northwest leads out of the valley.

The west section of the map: This image contains Alryne Valley proper. Lake Atherton is to the left with a lakeside cabin. This is the only residential property in Alryne Valley – Alpha.

The southwest portion of the map: Sugarplum Circle, the affluent neighborhood, is located in the bottom left. It contains four 64×64 lots in the center and is surrounded by twelve 40×40 lots around the outside. You can see three single-wide mobile homes in Alryne Court to the right which I added to test the world.
I plan to add a zip file to Mediafire with these three homes, three double-wide homes, and other residential properties which I will be building.

Northeast area of map: Smuggler’s Cove criminal hideout at the top of the map and the lighthouse to the east.

Sunrise Beach is located on the Maramore Ocean to the east. Crimson Lane comes from the west to the ocean and Ocean View Road goes south from there.

Aviator Way coming from the west leads to the Alryne Airfield Terminal, Wimborne Militia, Wimborne County Junkyard, Wimborne Empirical Centre (science building), and Aedan Springs. There is an abandoned mine in the southeast as well.
