~texansky~ I started playing the game in windowed mode, and the notification snippets are lighter in color than before.
Laurence Burgess-Arce celebrated a birthday. He was now an adult.
Dominick was going stir-crazy, so he went to the Gazebo Park. He promptly sat on the bench and fell asleep.
~texansky~ “Dominick Forsythe-Crouse decided to enjoy the great outdoors and visited the park. The smell of fresh grass and the rustle of trees won’t be forgotten soon.
“Dominick Forsythe-Crouse is sleeping on a community lot. He will always remember getting so tired that he decided that just about anywhere would be a good place to sleep!”
Eve Spann had passed on. She was 94. Tanika Forsythe-Crouse was her daughter.
Big news! We had a ninth-generation heir!

Jacob Burr-Forsythe was at home on the floor. Fortunately, his great-uncle Joaquin Burr-Kern promptly placed him in his crib.
~texansky~ The house actually contained a crib. I have seen many baby Sims sleeping on the floor. It’s comforting to know my 9th-generation heir will be well cared for until his family moves into the Forsythe Legacy household.
Ben Forsythe and Lena Hamlin-Beam had gotten engaged.

Tanika decided to retire. Even an 87-year-old workaholic needed to slow down someday.
Apparently, Karen still had a thing for her high-school sweetheart Marco Davis. I peeked, and she was in love with Zhan and Marco. Karen and Marco must have been talking on the phone or chatting on the computer because I didn’t notice her leave home for a few days. And it appeared that Regan was the one who caught her. It was nearly a week before Regan decided to tell Zhan. He was clearly upset.
~texansky~ “Uh oh… Someone has notice Karen Spann-Crouse isn’t exactly being faithful in her love life… word is slowly spreadin around town that Karen Spann-Crouse is Naughty!
“Karen has a Cheater reputation.
“What a tragedy! Zhan Su just caught Karen Spann-Crouse cheating on him. A fickle lover is a foe that won’t be forgotten easily!”

~texansky~ Zhan and Karen have decided to become just friends. I had Karen try to call Marcos, but he is not on the list. I find him listed at the town hall as a food merchant, currently out of town. I may have to cheat to remove the love relationship so she can move on.
Regan celebrated her birthday. She was now an adult.
~texansky~ “It’s Regan’s Birthday!
“Regan Forsythe has finally broken free of the yoke of childhood and the occasionally cruel teenage years. Adulthood is both a memory and a license to make more memories.”
And the twins Derek and Tammy entered their teenage years.
First Derek:

“Derek has reached his teen years. Angst and raging hormones can make this a difficult period for any Sim. Derek can now join the workforce by taking a part-time job, although his grades are still a big factor in his future success.
“Due to his indifferent study habits, you will not be able to choose a trait for Derek. Derek has developed the Nurturing trait.”
And then Tammy. There were no photos of her transformation, but she was striking!
