Store Worlds Legacy: Generation 2 – Barnacle Bay
Vicki:
Marcus Lord has celebrated his birthday. He is a Virgo, an angler, a sailor, a slob, has commitment issues, and a good sense of humor. He likes egg rolls, Chinese music, and the color black.
Marcus and Nikita have graduated. Marcus was voted class clown.
They wanted to have a small wedding at the house with just us, her parents, and her sister. However, they couldn’t wait and had a private wedding while on a date. I gave them my bed and am sleeping in Marcus’ old bed.
Paulie Lothario has grown into a fine young adult. He is a Scorpio, brave, rebellious, artistic, a natural cook, and hates the outdoors. He likes pancakes, Dark Wave music, and the color lime green.
Old age snuck up on me. Where did the time go? I will be leaving my garden behind when we move to Barnacle Bay.
Marcus:
Well, we are finally settled into our new home in Barnacle Bay. Angler’s Apartments is a large 4-bedroom, 3-bath home within walking distance of Hogan’s Deep Sea Diner.
Nikita and I claimed the bedroom with the attached nursery. Paulie and Lorenzo quickly decided on the two rooms with double beds, leaving Mom with the small room with twin beds. She says she is okay the sleeping arrangements. We’ve already displayed our certificates and prom pictures in our rooms.
Constance Shelley and her sons Eugene Dean and his half-brother, Jefferson Lothario (Don’s fourth son and our half-brother live in Plankton Penthouse. Nikita’s sister, Audrie and her boyfriend, Eugene Dean were married and she has moved in with them.
Nikita’s parents, Aiden and Hannah Jones, made the move to be near their daughters. They live at The Sandy Nest.
Eugene’s father, George Dean has his own home at In-Law’s Cottage.
And, of course, our father, Don Lothario, couldn’t stay away from Mom and tagged along. He lives alone at Gull’s Nest on the other side of the island. Mom has given up on the dream that Don will marry her.
I’ve already been fishing at the ocean shore. It wasn’t long before I caught my 13th perfect fish and completed my lifetime wish of a perfect private aquarium. I put the piranha in a fishbowl by himself. I was afraid he would eat the other fish.
Mom helped Nikita plant a small garden in the courtyard at the back of the house. Nikita said she would help her with the gardening, and spends a couple of hours before work tending the plants.
Nikita has been relocated to the Barnacle Bay branch of Doo Peas corporate towers. She did such a great job on her first day there that she was promoted to freelance writer. I’m so proud of her.
Paulie went to the courthouse and registered as a self-employed writer. He dreams of illustrating his own books, but has no plans to move out at this time.
Lorenzo has always dreamed of becoming the best at painting and guitar. He fulfilled this wish right before we left Riverview. When he graduates, he says he will register as a self-employed painter. He wants to move out on his own and has his eye on a property up on Trawler Cliffs. He plans on building a small home there where he can paint overlooking the sea.
Marcus and Nikita received a Dromedary loveseat from SilverDaybreak as a wedding gift. They were able to find matching chairs at Furniture and Sims.
They also received an astral playground telescope from OtherCook and placed it on their upstairs veranda facing the ocean.
Nikita and I went to Mick’s Master Karaoke and played some pool. Nikita got a little frisky and pulled me into the photo booth.
Nikita learned she was pregnant. I was apprehensive about the news. So many things to worry about. We need to furnish the nursery.
Lorenzo celebrated his birthday tonight. He will be graduating this weekend.
It’s apparent in this picture that Lorenzo knows everything is all about him. He’s such a diva.
Lorenzo purchased Oceanview Cabin on Trawler Cliffs and moved this morning. He also had a custom painted car delivered to the house.
When he arrived, he spent some time drawing in his sketchbook.
Then he went on the back deck and started a painting. I think he will enjoy living there.
Nikita and I painted and furnished the nursery. She learned she was having a girl and went all out on pink items.
Mom has been spending a lot of time at the pool. She practically lives in her bathing suit.
Nikita has been just finished an article, Blogging for Fun and Profit, for work.
Paulie has been busy writing his latest drama, Rock, Paper, Scissors. He said he’s about halfway through.
I’ve been catching tuna to use as bait for lobsters. The paparazzi follow me around everywhere, taking my picture. They even hang around outside my front door. I don’t like it and have asked them to leave, but they keep coming back.
I’ve almost caught enough fish to be considered a commercial fisherman. I am only level 7 in my angler career. I need to sell another §4,645 to reach level 8.
Mom went to the summer festival and had a lemon snow cone. She spent some time wandering around talking to other Sims before coming home.
I was asked to deliver a tragic clownfish to the theatre and was paid §560 for it. They plan to use it on stage and might give it a part in the tragic play they are working on. I can’t imagine that fish acting, but it’s their production.
Nikita: I donated some books to City Hall for the library today.
Marcus: That was very generous of you.
Nikita: Thank you. I decided to read Totally Preggers: An Unexpected Mother’s Tale in front of City Hall.
Marcus: Are you learning anything from it?
Nikita: I didn’t have time to really read it. The paparazzi got right up in my face to take my picture. I put the book in my purse and left. Thankfully, there were no paparazzi hanging around outside the door when I got home.
Marcus: Those guys are really getting annoying. I had one of them taking my picture while I was fishing this morning. I need to go catch some lobsters. I’ll see you later.
Suddenly, Nikita started crying.
I took her in my arms and held her tight while she cried.
Marcus: What’s wrong darling?
Nikita told me that her back was killing her, so I had her turn around and gave her a massage. I told her to go to the spa and pamper herself.
I then took Nikita in my arms and gave her a proper goodbye kiss. I told her that she is so beautiful as a pregnant woman. I’m still nervous about the birth, but I can’t wait for our daughter to be born.
I went down to the beach and began to fish. It wasn’t long before I caught my first lobster of the day.
