A Steady Gig on Saturdays!
September:
Phoenix the Magnificent performed at the Port-A-Party Mini Warehouse. He had four fans in the audience, and being a loner, even that many made him very uncomfortable.
L-R: Kane Riffin, Deana Singleton, Asa Connors, and Kane’s brother, Jevon Riffin, seen pumping his fist behind Asa. Deana was pregnant and constantly hungry.
Phoenix performed the Vanishing Sim trick with Dakota Fox.
Phoenix also performed the perilous Watery Grave trick.
The review of his performance: “Not a bad performance, but it seemed like the tricks all could have come out of a box from a store in the mall.” Ouch!
Fortunately for Phoenix, he now had a steady gig there every Saturday night during prime hours.
Town trivia: Jevon Riffon just had a daughter, Aubrey, with Kelley Whipsnake. Kelley was the daughter of Zac Whipsnake and Michell Pelly. Michell was the daughter of Imogen Pelly.
To clear his head and get away from the crowd, he decided to jog for a while before heading home.
Casey started a blog and called it What a Payne. His first post, This Crazy Life, earned him 21 followers.
He made a second post, Dirty Showers and Other Annoyances, including a picture of his tub, and it lost him 3 followers. He’ll have to do better next time.
August found Toulouse Pinkerton in the garden, so he fed him a treat.
MaryJo’s latest novel, Silent Scream was finished. Her publisher said “It’s 435 pages are filled to the brim with horror!” She had started Climbing the Ranks, a biography of Kane Riffin, who was a career soldier.
It doesn’t surprise me that Penny Purcell married Dakota Fox as she had a love for horses. She looked great riding Willow Fox at the public training grounds.
Phoenix invited Dionne Johnson over for a visit.
They danced together.
August was learning how to bake muffins on the toy stove we bought for him.
Casey found a magic laundry gnome when he took the clothes from the dryer.
Casey mastered logic by finishing the last volume of the Logic series.
Phoenix started his show at Mick’s Master Karaoke very strong by levitating. The crowd loved it.
Near the stage: Tamara Marshall, Benni Singleton, and Kane Riffin. Standing in the back: Katrina Fox and Kylee Riffin. Seated: Mack Fox and Mindy Marshall.
He ended the show with the Swords of Destiny. Benni Singleton survived the successful trick. Phoenix was paid §4,550 for his performance. The proprietor said, “That was an impressive show!” Phoenix performed for tips outside on the lawn after the show.
Evan had an experiment go terribly wrong. He was singed pretty badly.
Jean has mastered painting. She is working hard on providing 15 paintings to city hall for display in all public buildings.
She has also been promoted. She joined the top quartet and has chosen to pursue the coveted job of hit movie composer.
Penny Fox adopted a filly named Asta. What a beautiful little horse.
Asta is agile and playful. She still needs training and is a bit of a pig when she is being fed her bottle. She was shipped in from another town, and her parents are unknown.
