Fields of Gold – 24 – The Legacy Report

Aidan and Aurion

We went to the hospital and Autumn had a baby boy.

Meet Aidan Fields. He is a Scorpio, good, and eccentric. He likes spaghetti with veggie sauce, Pop music, and the color turquoise.

Autumn fed Aidan his first bottle and put him to bed.

I went up to check on Aidan, and he was awake, so I played with him and snuggled him for a while before putting him back to bed. I can’t believe I am a father!

Gavin was complaining about gaining weight. I reminded him that he participated in the hot dog eating contest twice yesterday.

Rhapsody performed on stage at Performance Park. She is now an Illusionist, magician level 6.

The proprietor published a review on Rhapsody’s performance: “The show was quite good. I couldn’t tell if it was a great performer on an off day, or an average performer putting on the show of their life.”

Jonboy has been promoted to Executive Chef at Flying V’s Coffeehouse.

Rhapsody auditioned and got a gig at Mick’s Master Karaoke.

Lucas: Gavin, why are you walking like that?
Gavin: I don’t know. I think it’s because of my giant gut. If I walk normally, my back starts to hurt.
Lucas: Okay.
Gavin: I’m going to go to bed. Good night, Lucas.
Lucas: ‘Night.

After Autumn changed Aidan’s dirty diaper, we kissed and headed for bed.

Gavin was in the living room when a strange sensation coursed through him. He looked down, and there was a green glow coming from his stomach.

The next thing he knew, Gavin was holding a tiny alien baby boy in his hands. He named him Aurion Fields.

Aurion is an Aries who is brave and athletic. He likes sushi, Island Life music, and the color hot pink.

He fed Aurion a bottle and cuddled him while Jonboy dragged the spare crib out of storage and cleaned it up. When it was ready, Gavin put the infant in the crib.

Gavin: I don’t think anyone is going to believe this.
Jonboy: I barely believe it myself.
Lucas came into the nursery and saw the second crib with a tiny green alien in it. He looked between Gavin and Jonboy and then into the crib before he spoke.
Lucas: What’s this?
Gavin: His name is Aurion Fields. He’s my baby.

Lucas: Where did he come from?
Gavin: I was abducted by aliens a while before the summer festival, and apparently, the alien impregnated me. He was just born.
Lucas: How?
Gavin: I don’t know. A strange sensation came over me, and magic glow radiated out of my belly. Suddenly he was in my arms. I’ve decided to keep him.
Lucas: Do you suppose the aliens will be angry with you for not giving him back?
Gavin: I hope not.
Lucas: I should probably tell Autumn about the baby. Orion is his name?
Gavin: No Aurion, pronounced Our-ree-on. It means golden-hued.

I went to the nectar cellar to make some Fields of Gold Avornalino Nectar II and some Fields of Gold Cherimola Blan Nectar II. First, I squished the Avornalino grapes.

I talked to Autumn and told her about Gavin’s son, Aurion. Surprisingly, Autumn took the news of the baby alien very well. She said she has no problem taking care of him.
