Three Dates
Cheri & Elvis Forte:
I decided to take a day off of work and invited Elvis Forte over.
Cheri: I really like you a lot.
Elvis: I like you, too.
I gave him flowers.
He held my hands and we flirted.
Cheri: Would you like to go out on a date?
Elvis: Let’s do this! We could tear up the town together!
We went to Flying V’s Coffeehouse for dinner.
By the time we finished eating, the rain had stopped. During dinner, he confessed that he had been seeing Lorie Douglas-Strong. I asked him to break up with her and he agreed that he would rather be with me. We embraced.
We watched the stars together.
The sky was clear and the stars were particularly bright this evening.
Elvis: I love being with you. You always make me feel special.
Cheri: Thank you. I love being with you, too.
I was flattered by his attention.
Cheri: Elvis, I am falling hard for you. Would you go steady with me?
Elvis: Absolutely! There is no one I would rather be with.
Cheri: Let’s take a selfie to remember this moment.
When I got home, Clara and Chance were eager to tell me about their dates.
Clara & Heath McGee:
Heath invited Clara out on a date. They met at Fort Gnome Military Base and chatted outside in the rain.
They ran across the street to Alryne Airfield Terminal to get out of the rain. Clara invited Heath to play an arcade game with her, but he ignored her and got a juice instead.
She tried talking to him about art, but he clearly wasn’t interested.
This was a serious conflict for Clara as art was her passion. They got into an argument.
Clara: How can you not appreciate art?
Heath: Art is boring, and artists are dumb!
Clara: I can’t be with anyone who feels that way about me as an artist. I’m leaving!
Heath: Fine!
Clara left to visit the art museum, but noticed it was nearly 10 pm, so she headed straight home instead. It was a long ride on her bicycle. Fortunately, she didn’t get busted by the police along the way.
Chance & Alanna Douglas-Strong:
Chance met Alanna Douglas-Strong at the Port-A-Party Mini Warehouse. He asked her about her day. They chatted for a while, getting to know one another.
Chance: Alanna, would you like to go to prom with me?
Alanna: I wasn’t going to go, but now that I have a date, I will. Just don’t stalk me afterwards.
Chance: I won’t. We can meet at my house. We’re hiring a limo.
Alanna: A limo? I wouldn’t miss it! I’ll be there.
Chance gave Alanna some red roses.
Chance massaged Alanna’s neck and shoulders.
Not wanting to break curfew, Chance headed for home to eat a salad for dinner. Flora was concentrating on her homework.
