Master Illusionist
Today is August’s birthday. Soon, he will be starting school. I don’t know where the time went.
August Shepherd is a Libra who is neurotic, easily impressed, and a computer whiz. He likes tri-tip tofu steak, Soul music, and the color green.
After the party, Phoenix had to perform at Mick’s Master Karaoke. Being a Spellcaster, a level eight magician, he is travelling in style in a limo.
Phoenix the Magnificent used the Box of Mystery to perform the Vanishing Sim trick.
It didn’t go well for volunteer Cornell Riffin.
Phoenix performed a few more tricks, and Cornell was willing to give him another chance.
This time, Phoenix was successful.
Cornell was relieved he wasn’t in his sleepwear again.
Maisy Riffin volunteered for the Swords of Destiny, but he ran out of time and finished the show without performing the routine.
August still likes MaryJo to read to him. She chose the first volume of the gardening series.
It didn’t take long for him to fall asleep.
MaryJo whispers: Good night, little guy.
A burglar showed up at Performance Park and tipped Phoenix the Magnificent.
Evan was promoted to Carnivorous Plant Tender, level five in the science career.
MaryJo finished The Dead Never Talk, and it is already a hit. She has started her next horror novel, Silent Scream.
At the last minute, Phoenix was invited to do a gig at Performance Park tonight. He was successful in both the buried alive and watery grave illusions.
I finished writing a mystery novel, The Case of the Missing Left Shoe. The publisher liked it and I will receive §664 in royalties, the most I have received for a book to date. My next novel, The Thief Who Stole Time, is going well.
