Lucas:
Autumn went to the salon and got a makeover. I like the new outfit. I’m glad they didn’t change her hairstyle.
Dad was gone most of the evening talking to people about hospital finances. When he came home, he put a load of laundry in the washing machine and sat in the rocking chair waiting for it to finish.
Gavin’s dream is to become an illustrious author, so he has been working on his painting skills.
Rachel auditioned for a magic gig at The Flying V’s Coffeehouse. The proprietor, Dora Downing, was impressed and offered her a spot on Sunday at 20:00.
Dad had been practicing on the training dummy in the barn. He came in and was sitting down to eat some organic waffles when he suddenly fell to the floor and died.
Jonboy and I were the first ones to enter the kitchen. There was nothing we could do.
Rachel arrived a few minutes later. I saw a dark figure in the living room with a scythe.
Dad went into the living room and faced the figure. He was ready to be with Mom, and accepted his fate with grace.
He shook the Grim Reaper’s hand and crossed over. He was 106.
Misty was mourning the loss as much as the rest of us. She wouldn’t stop yowling.
Autumn was studying alchemy in the barn and had no clue that Dad had died.
Gavin was invited over to Amanda Hanover’s apartment for a party. Her cat, Wonton Hanover, attacked Gavin while he was talking to Sharon Cook. Apparently, the little gal doesn’t like him. Gavin decided it was time to head for home.
Gavin made Dad’s bed for the last time.
Misty was playing with her feathered wall dancer.
Then she went into the kitchen and begged Gavin for some food. He tossed her a piece of cheese.
Rachel missed her gig at the coffeehouse, so she went to the park and auditioned for a gig. She will perform on Monday at 19:30.
~texansky~ Hopefully, I will watch the time better so she can do her gig.
Autumn said she has been promoted, but she won’t tell me what she does for work until three in the morning. I don’t like that she is being secretive about her job, but I’ll give her a chance to tell me when she’s ready.
Gavin finished his painting worth §158. He framed it and hung it above the fireplace, but he didn’t like the color of the frame, so he sold it.
When Jonboy was promoted to pastry chef (level 6), he was given the Ingredient Eviscerator 235X. He chose the silver model, rather than the gold, to match our other appliances. We added a new kitchen counter to make room for it. The microwave fit well on the corner counter.
Jonboy has been studying the cookbooks he bought. He has finished the 8th in the series and is now reading the 9th.
