The Loss of Toulouse Pinkerton
Casey:
September was exhausted when we returned from the hospital, so she went straight to bed.
The next day while I was at work, Toulouse Pinkerton crossed the rainbow bridge. He lived a long life and died at 62.
September has been obsessing over her wrinkles. I think they give her character.
MaryJo spent some time with August, giving him a bottle and playing with him.
Jean was promoted to Stage Hand.
I survived my mid-life crisis. It was a difficult period of my life, and I’m glad it’s over.
Phoenix has earned not one, but two Cranstan Boonitz the Magic Gnomes.
Jean: Have you read MaryJo’s latest horror novel, Eyes in the Cupboard?
Bucky: Not yet. Is it good?
Jean: Yes! I won’t be able to sleep tonight!
Bucky: I will have to check it out.
Jean: There’s a complimentary copy on the bookshelf.
Charlotte joined me on the bed to dream about food.
Eleven of our gnomes gathered near the garden.
September has been so good at taking care of August.
September:
August didn’t get a creepy doll in the mail, so wI bought him a fairy bear. Her name is Andrea.
My mother, Loni Payne, sat with August for a while.
My father, Christian Payne, was rocking in the chair on the porch.
Evan has been promoted to Lab Technician. Congratulations!
While I was painting, Evan played with August.
Casey was promoted to Trauma Surgeon. I am so proud of him!
Phoenix the Magnificent had a show at Performance Park. He amazed the audience.
