Life Goes On
Lucas:
Autumn came over and we took a selfie together. I asked her to spend the night.
As the nectar racks were nearly full, Autumn helped me sort through all of the bottles of nectar. It took most of the day. I sold all but the best of the Fields of Gold nectar for each year. I kept the excellent, outstanding, and perfect nectars from Champs Les Sims, 27 bottles in all, and sold the rest. These were placed in the far right racks. Mom’s nectars filled the bottom left rack, with one bottle going into the upper rack with my nectars.
Our nectar cellar now contains 53 bottles of nectar worth §7,110. We have six empty racks available for future generations to fill. Mom achieved the title of High-Quality Nectar Pairer, level 7 in the nectar-making career. We’re all proud of her.
Mom wanted to make one last trip to Champs Les Sims to see if she could find the more rare grapes. Mom and Dad rode around Champs Les Sims in style. They had shipped their classic car ahead of their trip.
Mom managed to obtain all six varieties of French grapes. She also brought home some plums and pomegranates. Rather than make a trip to Shang Simla, I had some cherry pits shipped and they arrived the day we returned from France.
I planned out the garden to accommodate the new fruits and some more recipe ingredients for the fridge. The garden is completely full now. It takes four trips around the field just to harvest it all. I replanted extras around the outside of the fence which will be removed when they become dormant.
After reading gardening books in Champs Les Sims, and tending the new garden at home, I was able to master gardening.
While tending garden in the rain, I was struck by lightning.
I was fortunate to have survived the ordeal.
That night, Jonboy was abducted by aliens.
I finally took the time to upgrade the 2nd nectar maker to improved pressing.
Mom made Dad his favorite meal of French toast for breakfast.
I followed in my mother’s footsteps and joined the Nectar Making career.
A stray cat died outside our gate.
Mom and Dad are such lovebirds.
Jonboy and I graduated from high school today.
I donned my cap and gown and headed to City Hall for the ceremony.
Me with my diploma. I was voted Most Likely to be Mediocre. I’ll show them! My lifetime wish is to have a perfect mind and perfect body.

That evening, my world fell apart. Mom died. She was 95. Dad is devastated.
