I asked Lisa if I could spend the night and she agreed. I then asked her to go steady. She said yes.

We sat in the snow to watch the stars.

However, it was too early, cloudy, and snowing, so we didn’t see anything. Regardless, I enjoyed her company.

Ethan Bunch called to find out my intentions for his sister. I assured him that My intentions were pure.

Lisa and I had salad for dinner.

Afterward, Lisa went upstairs to admire herself in the mirror. I followed her and gave her an amorous hug.

Lisa confessed she was glad I had asked her to go steady.

She flirted with me some more.

Lisa kissed me soundly. I kissed her back passionately.

Lisa chose to give me perfect purple flowers to commemorate our perfect night together.

I was reading Thunking when Lisa’s dad Jack Bunch sat beside me to eat his salad.

I decided to ask Jack for his daughter’s hand in marriage.

Adam: Mr. Bunch, do you have a moment?
Jack: Yes. What is it?

I was nervous, but gathered the courage and asked.

Adam: I have come to love your daughter, Lisa. I would like to ask you for her hand in marriage. Would you give your blessing?

I waited for Jack’s reply. I was so afraid that Jack would say no.

Jack: How will you care for my daughter?
Adam: I am a published author. I currently earn nearly §1,600 per week in royalties, and my fifth book should be published soon. My home is small, only one bedroom at the moment, but I plan to expand it to house a family. She will not want for anything.

Jack: You sound well prepared to care for Lisa. Yes Adam, I would love to have you as a son-in-law. I give you my blessing to marry my daughter, Lisa.
Adam: Thank you so much, sir. Your blessing means the world to me.
Jack: Call me Jack. We’re going to be family.

Imagine my relief when Jack gave his blessing!

More at ease, Jack and I discussed the weather, then talked about the coming spring and vegetable gardening.

It was nearly two in the morning, so I went to bed and dreamed filling my bookshelf with my published books.

Lisa was at work when I woke up, so after using the facilities, I headed for home.

I found my first gnome, s-GNOME-man Bittertotter sitting outside in the snow. I named him Deric.

After paying the bills, I found a letter from Lisa.
I can’t stand it anymore! Every time I see you all I can think about is our lips pressed together in a passionate kiss!

I received a call from Ethan asking when I am going to pop the question. I admitted that it would be soon.
