Imaginary Friends
Week 11: Sunday
Loni:
MaryJo made a potion. I saw her hold it out and it floated in mid-air, tipped up, and poured out into nothingness.
The next thing I knew, a young girl was standing in front of MaryJo. MaryJo introduced her as Jean, her imaginary friend made real. I was stunned!
Jean is a Taurus, a sailor, genius, vehicle enthusiast, and artistic. She likes firecracker shrimp, French music, and the color white.
Monday, after school, I witnessed another imaginary friend made real.
Evan introduced his friend as Bucky.
Bucky is an Aquarius, a bookworm, neat, athletic, and equestrian. He likes egg rolls, French music, and the color aqua.
Parker’s imaginary friend was made real on Tuesday.
Meet Penny. She is a Pisces, a party animal, equestrian, and friendly. She likes crepes, Rockabilly music, and the color green.
Christopher and I had a water balloon fight in the yard.
The kids had Wednesday off, so we threw a birthday party for September, Parker, and Penny. We set everything up for the party.
Parker was first.
Guests: L-R: Kane Riffin, Deandre Martingale, Phoenix Payne, Lamar Johnson, Kylee Martingale, Zac Whipsnake, Christopher Payne, Judd Fox, Evan Payne, Loni Payne, and MaryJo Payne in the back.
Parker blew out his candles.
Parker Payne is now a teenager. He is a Sagittarius, easily impressed, clumsy, a workaholic, and an equestrian.
Penny was next.
Penny is a Pisces, friendly, a party animal with commitment issues, and an equestrian.
Other guests:
L-R: Lamar, Wanda Singleton, Sha Sha Blanco, Deana Singleton, September Payne, Penny Payne, Christopher Payne, Desirae Singleton, Darren Martingale, and Dakota Fox.
Casey Shepherd-Pinkerton and Jean Payne in the boys’ room.
Bucky Payne came out of hiding to get something to eat.
Tamera Marshall and Donovan Fox were in the back yard. Donovan was in the cattle pen.
I found Mindy Marshall in the front yard.
Finally, September didn’t get to blow out her candles either. She is now a young adult. She is an absent-minded Taurus, artistic, friendly, loves the outdoors, and is a hopeless romantic. Her lifetime wish is to become an illustrious author.
It was a great party. Everyone had a good time and we had plenty of leftovers. Folks brought two peach pies, plum cobbler, spaghetti with veggie sauce, cheese tofu steak, deep fried burrito, and Teppanyaki salmon. There was no need to serve the buffet, so we put all of that in the freezer for another time.
Vabbilhea Shukepoj came to visit her son, Phoenix. She was 25 when Phoenix was born.
She didn’t stay long. She ran to the road and got into her Galaxa space car.
In a flash of bright light, she disappeared into the night sky.
