Eternally Faithful

Michell and I have a faithful reputation and are wholly committed to one another. Michell was tending the basement garden while I painted. I wanted to improve my painting enough to paint her portrait.

I finished my latest painting. I titled it Island Volcano.

I moved the easels to the main floor so we didn’t have to go down to the sub-basement to paint.

Jamal and Brooklynn Douglas had moved into Texansky Lodge on Crimson Lane East. They were having a housewarming party.

Brooklynn built a snowman at the local pool.

I received a call from my sister.
Brody: Hello?
Brooklynn: Hey, Brody! How are things going?
Brody: They are going great! Cheri is crawling all over the place. She learned to play the xylophone and has been talking more every day.
Brooklynn: Awesome! Cade is a toddler now as well. He’s always finding things to get into. I’ve had to baby-proof the house. Jamal is constantly spending time with him.
Brody: Yeah, making sure the kids are safe is a full-time job.
Brooklynn: I called to tell you that I am expecting again.
Brody: That’s fantastic news! When are you due?
Brooklynn: Soon. I should have told you earlier, but I’ve been busy with Cade.
Brody: That’s fine. We should have you over sometime to catch up. It’s been quite a while.
Brooklynn: We should. I’ve got to go. Cade is too quiet, and I need to check up on him.
Brody: Okay. Give Cade a hug from his uncle Brody.
Brooklynn: I will. Goodbye.
Brody: Bye.

I checked in on Cody Phelps. He and Cade have the same haircut. Fortunately, they have different eye colors, and Cody will be a child soon.

Michell and I got a little frisky and spent extra time in bed.

Afterward, she went outside in her summer outfit. I know it’s the first day of spring, but really?

Cody Phelps has celebrated another birthday. He will be starting school tomorrow.

Michell and I decided to check out my old treehouse.

I finished a painting and named it Sailing. I hung it in our bedroom above the dresser.

Dawson marked me while I was in the nursery with Cheri.

Michell threw up and had to brush her teeth, clean the toilet, and unclog it! I’m surprised she didn’t throw up again.

Jamal called.
Brody: Hello?
Jamal: Hey, buddy. I just called to tell you that Brooklynn and I have another son.
Brody: That’s great! Congratulations!
Jamal: Thanks. We named him Carl Douglas.
Brody: That’s a fine name.
Jamal: I’d better go. They’re bringing Carl into the room now.
Brody: Okay. Talk to you later.
Jamal disconnected the call.

Jamal and Brooklynn had moved again. I found them flirting in the living room of their new home.

~texansky~ I had to add another crib for toddler Cade. And then their dog Rose Berg peed on the carpet!

Michell: Brody, I have something to tell you.
Brody: What is it, sweetheart?
Michell: I’m pregnant.
Brody: Really? Oh, my, this is marvelous news! I am overjoyed!
Michell: So am I. I can’t wait to have your baby. Do you think it will be a boy or a girl?
Brody: I don’t care as long as they are healthy.
