Brody and Michell Get Married
The Ceremony
The guests arrived and I asked Michell if she was ready. She looked stunning in her wedding dress. I had offered her my grandmother’s necklace and earrings, but she said she had her own from her great-grandmother, Cheri. They were a similar design. My grandmother’s were sapphires surrounded by diamonds, and Michell’s were aquamarines surrounded by sapphires.
We took our places under the arch and waited for the guests to settle down and gather.
Brody: Michell Arellano, you are my soulmate. This ring is a never-ending circle representing my love for you. Will you marry me?
Michell: Yes, Brody, I will.
Michell: Brody Forsythe, I never thought I would find someone to fill the void in my life until I met you. This ring is a token of my devotion to you. Will you marry me?
Brody: I will.
Michell was talking to me when the guests started throwing rice. She got some in her mouth and had to spit it out.
I can’t believe not a single guest got a picture of us kissing.
We cut the cake. Michell took out her phone and recorded it.
