The Nectar Cellar

When the repair technician left, it was after midnight. I went out to the barn to start the machine. Suddenly, I was drawn outside.

I had been abducted by Exe To’Vedachot. She returned me to the road in front of the house.

I went back to the barn and finally started the nectar machine.

I decided to work on the old beater until I was tired.

The next morning, the contractors arrived to excavate my nectar cellar. They made it large enough to fit shelves, bin storage, and the nectar maker.

There are ten shelves, but only one holds nectar at this time. My nectary is off to a slow start.

The excavators also laid cobblestones in the garden to divide it into four beds. I will be growing my vineyard in the front two beds, and my produce in the top two beds.

I made waffles for breakfast. Shaun and I ate together.
Shaun: These are delicious. What did you put in them?
Jade: Thank you. I added some cinnamon and brown sugar to the batter.
Shaun: That’s why it tastes like a caramel roll.
Jade: Now that you mention it, it does taste like a caramel roll.

I registered as a self-employed nectar maker and registered Fields of Gold as my business name. Fields of Gold Nectar will be known as the best nectar in the region.

The frost came last night. our entire garden lies dormant now. I have enough grapes for two more batches of Fields of Gold Nectar. I can also make some Fields of Gold Apple Nectar and Field of Gold Strawberry Nectar.

I used the canning station to make a dozen quarts of lime marmalade.

Shaun came to make out with me and wish me a happy birthday.

I don’t feel like an adult, but it is what it is.

I felt nauseous this morning and ran for the bathroom. It can’t be something I ate, because I just woke up. I hope I’m not coming down with anything.

I threw up again that afternoon so I went to the store and bought a pregnancy test. I took it the next morning. It was positive.

I went online and order some things for the nursery – a crib, a toybox, a potty chair, and a covered trash can. I also hired a neighbor to replace the wallpaper.
