How Many Babies?
Week 8: Thursday
Loni:
I woke up about 1:00 am in labor. Because September and Phoenix were in bed, we decided to have the baby at home.
MaryJo is a Scorpio who is excitable and clumsy. She likes ceviche, Geek Rock music, and Irish green.
Loni: Christian, I think we’re having another baby!
Christian: What? I’d better get that extra crib out of storage.
Loni: You’d better hurry. This baby is anxious to be born.
Evan is also a Scorpio who is friendly and loves the outdoors. He likes tri-tip tofu steak, Kids music, and aqua.
Christian: Wow! A son and a daughter! Are you having more?
Loni: No, I think I’m done. We’re going to have a time caring for two babies and a toddler.
Christian: You go to bed. I’ll take care of them tonight.
Christian kissed me soundly and sent me on my way with a pat on the back.
Christian:
I fed, snuggled, and played with MaryJo first.
Once MaryJo was settled in for the night, I picked up and fed Evan.
After I finished with Evan, I placed him in the crib and grabbed a large mug of coffee.
Week 8: Friday
Loni:
I went to bed at 4:00 am to sleep, but my internal clock was set on farmer’s time and I was awake by 5:30 am. I went outside to take care of the chickens and milk the cow.
Christian came out to care for the bees and harvest the honey. I don’t think he slept at all.
When I came in for breakfast, September had helped herself to some leftover grape pancakes. She had just finished. I went to the fridge and grabbed another plate of pancakes.
Pancakes are my favorite breakfast.
September decided she didn’t like her hair up, so she brushed it out and I braided it. She’s so active that it didn’t stay neat for very long. She likes it, so I’m not going to make her sit all day to keep it tightly braided.
Christian:
I heard the fire truck and went to investigate. There was a fire in the Miller’s backyard. The firefighters quickly dispatched the flames.
When I got home, I found Loni in the bathroom. Oh my! Is she pregnant again at our age?
September went into the nursery to play with the dollhouse. She was having fun.
I asked her to finish her homework before bedtime.
Loni:
I discovered I was pregnant again! This will be baby number four and with Phoenix, we will have five children.
We also have baby chicks in the chicken coop.
After everyone was in bed for the night, I was abducted by Vabbilhea Shukepoj.
~texansky~ Christian and Loni Payne are eternally faithful to one another.
~texansky~ Global warming has hit Appaloosa Plains. The winters are only three days, the spring and fall are five days, and summer is fifteen days. Christian and Loni can produce more crops now.
