Precious Joy: Gen. 4.4

Cheri Flannagan

Michell had no sooner put her dishes in the dishwasher when she went into labor! It’s time already?

Michell in labor

I took her out to the Rock Town 3000, and drove her to the hospital.

~texansky~ What a man! Brody actually drove Michell to the hospital to have her baby!

Michell and I entered the hospital where we were greeted by a nurse with a wheelchair, taken to labor and delivery, and put into a private room.

Michell entering hospital

Michell: My contractions are getting stronger. It hurts a lot.

Brody: You’re doing great.

Nurse: I think you’re ready. I’ll get the doctor.

Dr. Martinson: Hello, Michell and Brody. Let’s deliver this baby.

Michell pushed for quite a while before the baby was delivered.

Dr. Martinson: It’s a girl!

Brody: Did you hear that Michell? You have a daughter. What are you going to name her?

Michell: Her name will be Cheri after my great-grandmother and Flannagan after her father. I want to list her father on the birth certificate.

Brody: Cheri is a wonderful name.

Dr. Martinson cleaned Cheri up, wrapped her in a blanket, and handed her to Michell.

Dr. Martinson: Your delivery went well. Cheri is a fine name. You may go home whenever you are ready. There is a shower in the bathroom for you to clean up. Congratulations!

We watched Dr. Martinson leave. I was in awe of the love of my life and her beautiful daughter.

Brody: How do you feel about me adopting Cheri after we are married? Then we can change her name to Forsythe.

Michell (surprised): You don’t have to do that.

Brody: She will be my daughter as much as yours. I would be proud to be her father.

I held Cheri while Michell had a shower. She’s so tiny. I already loved her as much as I loved Michell.

When Michell was ready, I handed Cheri to her and we left the hospital together. I took a picture of Michell and Cheri.

I don’t know why we took a taxi home. Now I will have to return to the hospital to collect my car.

Michell and Cheri arrived home. Another picture was in order. I like this one better than the one from the hospital.

Dawson came over to greet the new baby. He’s such a sweet cat.

Brooklynn had a secret, but she wanted to tell Jamal first.

Brooklynn is expecting

Brooklynn: Jamal, I took a pregnancy test, and I’m pregnant.

Jamal: That’s wonderful news, sweetheart! I can’t wait to welcome our little one to the family.

Brooklynn told Jamal shes pregnant

Brooklynn: We should think about names for the baby.

Jamal: I’m partial to Cybil if it’s a girl.

Brooklyn: I like that name. What about Cade for a boy?

Jamal: It’s a very strong, masculine name. I approve.

Brooklynn: If we come up with other names we like better, we can discuss them at that time.

Jamal: Sounds good.

Meanwhile, Brooklynn told Amanda that she and Jamal are expecting. Amanda was thrilled.

Ava Forsythe paid a visit to look in on Cheri.

There are seven adults and 2 children in the home right now. Carson and Bonnie wanted to take Cody and move to their own place. Since they were both elders, Jamal and Brooklynn decided to move with them to help take care of Cody and raise their children together. They moved to Vivid Roses, located at 209 Sugarplum Circle, in the affluent neighborhood of Alryne Valley. At the last minute, Amanda packed her things as well.

Michell and Dawson enjoyed a bit of peace and quiet.

Michell fed Cheri and settled her in for the night before going to bed herself.

~texansky~ I was having a hard time keeping up with and keeping track of everyone, so decided to move everyone out except Brody, Michell, and Cheri. I chose Vivid Roses for the move as it is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home with a garage. There are three double beds, two twin bunk beds, and two cribs, as well as two parking spaces. It should be big enough for two growing families. Carson and Bonnie took the Big Lemon, and I purchased the 4-Everything Van for Jamal and Brooklynn.

~texansky~ Global warming has hit Alryne Valley. The winter is only three days, the spring and fall are five days, and summer is fifteen days. The moon cycle is every four days. (I changed the seasons to match my other games. A year is 28 days.
