Expecting Again

Week 8: Tuesday

Loni:
I hadn’t been feeling well for the past few days, so this morning I took a pregnancy test. It was positive.

I told Christian I was pregnant. We were both looking forward to another child.

Later that day, Christian found me in the nursery and told me how beautiful I looked. He’s such a wonderful man.

We did our chores. I took care of the toddlers while Christian consigned some more produce. When he came home, he said he had stopped by the clinic and got a flu shot, then invested in the grocery store and the attached cafe. We already own the bookstore outright.

Christian also bought a laptop to help track his investments. He was able to transfer §2,000 profits from the bookstore to our bank account.

After a late dinner, we put the kids in their cribs and went to bed.

Week 8: Wednesday

~texansky~ The Payne household had a couple of visitors in the wee hours of the morning. Vabbilhea Shukepoj, Phoenix’s mother, seems afraid of Fred.

Vabbilhea checked out their new car…

…then examined their trash.

Fred introduced himself to Vabbilhea. Both of them were happy to have met.

Alien meets Fred

She played tic-tac-hoof with the cow in the snow. I don’t know how either of them can see what they are doing.

After losing tic-tac-hoof to a cow, she left in her spaceship.

Alien leaving

I thought she might try to see Phoenix but she didn’t enter the house.

Loni:
Today is September and Christian’s birthdays. Christian bought September a fancy cake. When the candles were lit, I went and got the birthday girl.

September-1

She was happy to help blow out the candles.

September-2

Christian went all-out with the party favors.

September-3

September is now a child. She seems to be a bit forgetful. I hope it’s nothing serious.

September-4

As is family tradition, the birthday girl got the first piece of cake.

She was curious about mommy’s belly being so big. Christian told her that there would soon be another baby in the family.

Christian September

If Christian hadn’t been so eager to leave the table, we could have gotten a good family shot.

Family shot

I told Christian how much I appreciate him being in my life. He thanked me for the compliment and told me he loved me.

Flirting

Later that evening, Christian celebrated his birthday quietly. He said we had enough cake. There was still leftovers from Phoenix’s birthday. He was happy to celebrate with just family.

Christian birthday

Christian decided that his haircut didn’t look good with his gray hair, so he had it style. I think it suits him better. I’m finally able to see both his eyes without peeking in from the side. He’s still the same handsome guy I married so many years ago.

After we put Phoenix in his crib, we talked quietly for a bit before heading to bed ourselves.
