Grape Harvest

I wasn’t getting enough rest in the single bed, so I bought a more comfortable bed and put it in the larger bedroom. I also got another nightstand and a couple of lamps.

I went to the garden this morning, and my grapes are finally ready for harvest! I can’t wait to see if the nectar machine works.

I hung up some clean clothes.

I found grass growing in the house.

I finally disposed of the weeds surrounding the buildings. I also cleared an area for milk cows. A small barn was built, and the cows were delivered.

Elijah loves his scratching post. He finally stopped scratching the rug and furniture.

The nectar machine works! I started my first batch of Fields of Gold Nectar.

I milked the cow that evening. She produced a good jug of milk. I plan on making cheese from it, so I put it in cold storage for now.

I had met Shaun Berger in town and we had become very close friends. I was interested in a bit more, so I invited him over to visit. When he arrived, we watched the stars together.

Shaun told me he likes Classical music. So do I! It’s neat that we share the same interest in music.

When we were in the living room, I learned that we were very attracted to one another. I find him extremely handsome.

Later that evening I gave him flowers and asked him to spend the night. He said yes.

We were flirting and getting along very well. I kissed him for the first time. It was heavenly, although our lips didn’t quite connect fully at first.

Shaun and I were really into one another. His hands were so gentle when he caressed my face.

I asked Shaun if he would like to spend the night, and he said he would. As best friends, we slept in the same bed.

Elijah had a great time playing with the neighborhood raccoon.

The next morning, I gave Shaun a massage. I finally worked up the courage to ask Shaun if he would be my boyfriend. He said yes!

We took a selfie to remember this moment.

Shaun didn’t have to work at the base today, so we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast. When we finished, he said he wanted to go home and get clean clothes. We kissed goodbye.

I hired a contractor to remodel the house. They arrived that afternoon. They started by replacing the plumbing in the downstairs bathroom.
