An Unexpected Arrival
Week 7: Thursday
Christian:
While tending to the bees, my belly glowed green again and I had the most intense pain in that area.
I must have blacked out for a minute. When I came to, the pain had stopped, and I was holding a baby boy with green skin. I named him Phoenix.
I went to show Loni my baby.
Christian: Apparently, I was pregnant with an alien baby. How is that even possible?
Loni: I have no idea. Is it a boy or girl?
Christian: He’s a boy. I named him Phoenix.
Loni: That’s an appropriate name for an alien baby.
Christian: Are you okay with me keeping the baby?
Loni: Of course. I will raise Phoenix as if he was my own child. Besides, how can you return him to the aliens?
Christian: You have a point.
Loni took September out of the high chair.
Loni: Do you see the baby daddy is holding? His name is Phoenix and he is your baby brother.
I fed and cared for Phoenix and put him into his crib. Fortunately, when we had our new home built, we put two cribs in the nursery. I wanted a large family, but wasn’t planning on having one myself!
Loni:
I was invited to Hailey Shepherd-Pinkerton’s home for a costume party. When I arrived, no one was at home.
I waited for a little while and when no one showed up, I took a taxi home. We really need to get a car. Taxi fees have gone up, and I can’t justify the prices any longer.
Loni: Christian, taxi prices have gone up again. I think we should get our own vehicle.
Christian: I agree. We’ll get a babysitter and go car shopping tomorrow.
Christian started toward the living room when he turned back to me.
Christian: By the way, I love your costume!
Loni (looking down and laughing): I suppose I should change.
He chuckled and headed out the nursery door.
September seemed to like looking at the picture books I placed on the floor. I’m glad I purchased them.
I ate some salad for dinner and cleaned up the kitchen. When I was finished, Phoenix was crying. I went to check on him and discovered he had a dirty diaper, so I changed him. He is just as soft as September was as a baby.
After putting September to bed, I changed into my sleepwear and climbed into bed.
Christian was eating something and told me he would join me shortly.

Week 7: Friday
Christian:
Loni fed September breakfast in the highchair.
~texansky~ I’m sorry, but this is a face only a mother could love. Loni and Christian do not produce good looking babies. I blame Loni…
…but Christian’s genes aren’t the best either.
Christian:
After taking care of September and Phoenix, we called a babysitter and headed to town. We looked and many different cars and settled on the Wornado Triage. It was roomy enough for a large family and would easily fit three car seats in the second seat with room for three more in the very back.
There was just enough in the bank to pay cash for the vehicle. I guess I need to sell the crops soon.
By the time we drove it home, our driveway had been paved. We had them put in two spaces for the future.
We didn’t get to do chores today until dusk. I took care of the basement garden while Loni harvested the crops outside with the tractor.
She didn’t get anything as the plants had gone dormant for the winter. I was hoping there were a few plants that were harvestable.
After chores, we ate a light dinner of autumn salad and went to bed.
~texansky~ I accidentally left the game running all of Friday in game. I purchased the vehicle Friday night and took a snapshot of it in build mode so I could take it in daylight.

Week 7: Saturday
Loni:
I woke up and heard a strange whining noise from the sky. I went to investigate. There was something up there with a pale green glow. I froze in fear.
By the time I realized it was an alien spaceship, I had nowhere to run.
I don’t know how long I was up there, and don’t remember anything of that time. The alien dropped me on the street near our home and quickly ran away.
It seems that Charlotte had witnessed the abduction. I reassured her that I was fine and went back to bed.
~texansky~ To be continued…
