A Commitment, An Engagement, and Two Marriages
This morning a stray dog crossed the rainbow bridge in our front yard. Bonnie and I were the only ones awake to witness the event. It was touching.
I found Patrick and Brooklynn flirting. It seems she didn’t heed my warning yesterday. I don’t want to see her get hurt.
I spoke with her again. She told me that she and Patrick were just having a little fun together, and that it wasn’t serious.
Jaron and Brianna Strong did get married. They had a son and named him Ernie.
That afternoon, Patrick Peterson and Persephone Phillips got engaged. I managed to get a few candid shots.
Immediately afterward, the four of us graduated.

The next afternoon, Brooklynn invited Jamal Douglas over. They watched the stars…

They flirted.
Brooklynn went in for a kiss and he didn’t object.
He gazed into her violet eyes and asked her to be his girlfriend. She said yes.
They took a selfie to remember the day they committed to one another.
I’m happy to see that my sister wasn’t upset by Patrick and Persephone’s engagement. The fact that she moved on rather quickly told me that she and Patrick really weren’t serious about one another. I like Jamal. He’s a great guy. He works at Doo Peas Corporate Tower in the news office. He is very ambitious, and I believe he will do well.
Brooklynn is performing singing telegrams around town. She wants to be a vocal legend like her uncle Ayce. I asked if she’d chosen a stage name. She said it was “Brooklynn”, just Brooklynn.
Carson and Bonnie told me that they had gotten married this morning. Meet Mr. and Mrs. Phelps! I was really surprised that they didn’t have a fancy wedding, but they seemed content with their decision to get married at the courthouse.
I wished them well. I wondered… would they continue living here?
I didn’t see Patrick or Persephone since their engagement last night. This afternoon, I got a call from Patrick telling me that he and Persephone had gotten married right after Carson and Bonnie! They found their own place and will be collecting their things soon.
All these couples made me feel a little lonely. I’ve had my eye on a gal from school, but I wanted to wait until she graduated to ask her out.
I found Amanda outside with tears in her eyes.
Brody: Are you all right?
Amanda: It’s nothing new. I’d been dating Damien Dawkins and I just found out he’s been seeing someone else. The same thing happened with Bubba Atwood. I am content with being alone, but sometimes I wish my life had been different.
Brody (hugging his aunt): I’m sorry to hear that. I could go beat him up for you.
Amanda [laughing]: Brody! That won’t be necessary. I’ve already told him off and left him standing in the pet shop. Maybe I’ll adopt a few cats and be the old cat lady.
Brody [chuckling]: I wouldn’t mind another cat, but only one.
Amanda: All right, just one.
Amanda took out her cell phone and made a call to the pet shelter.
Welcome home, Dawson!
~texansky~ While I was cleaning out the town inventories, Carson Phelps and Bonnie Forsythe got married! It seems that Patrick Peterson and Persephone Phillips also got married and moved out on their own. Amanda also quit her game developer career and entered politics. The sneaky little Sims! I added all of this to the story.
