Christian is Fat
Week 7: Tuesday
Christian:
Very early Tuesday morning, I woke up and went outside to see what the whining noise was. Suddenly I was being pulled up into a UFO.
When they dropped me back off at home, I saw a crazy looking cat stuck to the window of the craft.
When I went inside Charlotte was awake. I rubbed her belly. I love when she kicks her leg while I scratch her belly.
September started crying. I went upstairs, changed her diaper, and snuggled with her. She smelled so fresh.
I played with her for a while, then kissed her and returned her to her crib.
I went back to bed to try to sleep.
When I got up, Loni was putting laundry into the dryer.
Christian: You’re up early.
Loni: September was hungry. When I put her back in the crib, I decided to do the laundry.
Christian: Let’s get breakfast. There are waffles and pancakes in the fridge.
Loni: I’m going to have the raspberry pancakes.
Christian: I think I’ll have waffles this morning.
Loni:
After breakfast, I took care of the chickens and milked the cow. I made some more cheese from the milk.
I went upstairs to spend some time rocking with September after taking care of her needs.
Christian: I’m going to Aleister’s to consign some things. Then I will visit the grocer to sell our latest produce.
Loni: Okay. I’ll see you when you get back. I’m going to tend the garden downstairs.
Christian:
While I was at the grocers, a funny feeling came over me, and when I looked down my belly was glowing with a green light. What’s happening to me?
When I got home, I had to barf. I ran to the nearest toilet which happened to be in the sub-basement. I didn’t say anything about it to Loni.
Charlotte and Patch Miller were playing together at the Miller house.
Loni asked me to watch the stars. Then it started to rain.
We received a lot more from our crops as they were much better quality than in the past and it had been quite a while since we sold our crops, so we had a large quantity to sell. I had a couple of weeks worth of produce to sell this time. The grocer gave me §11,990, and Aleister’s paid me another §46,000.
I’ve been thinking it’s time to build a new home. This one has served us well, but the living area is a little small, and I really don’t want to be living in the basement.
Starting balance: §17,745
Final balance: §76,125
Difference: §58,380 more
Week 7: Wednesday
My pants were getting too tight. I had to put on sweatpants.
Christian: Loni, do I look fat?
Loni: Your waist is a little thicker. Maybe you should cut back on your portions a bit.
Christian: Maybe I should.
Remembering what happened at the store, I wasn’t quite sure my weight gain was due to overeating.
Loni: Christian, it looks like you gained 30 pounds overnight. You’re walking like I did when I was pregnant.
Christian: I know. I’ve been getting strange sensations in my stomach for a few days now.
Loni: Why didn’t you mention this to me before?
Christian: I didn’t really think you would believe me.
I asked Loni to watch the stars with me. I love this woman so much.
I’m having another strange sensation, and my belly is glowing again. This time Loni witnessed it.
Loni: Wow! Your belly is glowing green.
Christian: That’s the strange sensation I had before.
Loni: What is happening to you?
Christian: I don’t have any idea. I’m worried it might be something serious.
Loni: Maybe you should go to the doctor tomorrow.
Christian: I think I will.
September has grown into a cute little toddler. She has blue eyes. My eyes are green and Loni’s has brown eyes. I think Loni said her mother’s eyes were blue, so she has her grandmother’s eye color.
She’s already playing with the xylophone.
Starting balance: §76,125
Final balance: §7,927
Difference: §68,198 less
