The Funeral Was Exhausting

The funeral was winding to a close. The only guests left were my niece Brianna Forsythe, Amber’s husband Glen Berg, and my imaginary friend made real Abel Archer.

I had a good conversation with Glen.

Abel was ready to go home, so we said our goodbyes.

Brianna: I wanted to tell you how much Rob influenced me growing up. I am a better person because of him.

Angelia: Thank you. He was a good father figure to you and Bonnie while you lived here. I miss having you around.

Brianna: I’ll try to visit more often. I love you auntie Angelia.

Angelia: I love you too, sweetheart.

Brianna Forsythe and Jaron Strong are expecting a little one. It appears he’s celebrating with the wrong female, Marlene Atwood, partner of Bubba Atwood. This baby will be the start of the fourth generation.

I find myself nodding off in the rocking chair a lot. Sleeping in our bed without Rob is something I avoid doing.

Precious Joy Forsythe, daughter of Grady Crouse-Lawson and Teri Grimm-Forsythe, was the first-born of the 10th generation of the Precious Forsythe legacy. Precious Joy married Cortney Schultz. Precious Joy and Cortney have passed on.

Cortney and Precious Joy had five children: Twins Ayce and Ava, daughter Angelia, and twins Amanda and Amber. Regretfully, I didn’t get a family portrait.

Ayce married Kyla Mixon and they had a son, Daron Forsythe. Ayce and Kyla have passed on and Daron is engaged to Sammi Phelps. They moved out of the Forsythe household before Daron was born. Sammi is the niece of Glen Berg.

Ava married Bobbie Arellano. They had two daughters, Brianna and Bonnie. Ava, Bobbie, and Brianna moved out of the Forsythe household when the girls were young adults. Bonnie elected to stay in the Forsythe household. Bobbie has passed on.

Brianna is the girlfriend of Jaron Strong and they are expecting a baby.

Bonnie is the girlfriend Carson Phelps. They still live in the Forsythe household.

Angelia Forsythe is the 2nd generation heir. She married Rob Phelps, the father of Carson. Rob and Angelia have two children, Brooklynn and Brody, both twin teens still in hight school.

Brody is the 3rd generation heir.

Amanda Forsythe never married and has no children.

Amber married Glen Berg. They have a daughter Brylee, a teen in high school.
