I have created a world called Alryne Valley for The Sims 3. It is a coastal town surrounded by snow-covered mountains. There are 49 community lots, including two diving spots, and 68 residential lots. There are three versions of Alryne Valley (Empty, Homes, and Sims).
NOTE: The festival lot at 102 N Alryne Park Road (64×64 lot) in all three worlds, generates Seasonal Lot Marker errors because the road overlaps the lot. It doesn’t seem to affect gameplay other than generating the errors each time you load a save in this world. The only solution is to place a smaller festival lot in its place. See Fixing Seasonal Lot Marker Script Errors in Alryne Valley.
A Street Map of Alryne Valley is available.
Alryne Valley Lots & Addresses contains a complete list of all community and residential lots included in the world and their respective addresses. There are links to download any of them that are available in my studio.
Alryne Valley Homes Created contains a complete list of the residential homes available for download in my studio. Each listing contains a link to the details of the homes, including pictures, as well as a link to the home in my studio.
Background: Originally, I created Alryne Valley for those who wish to use my world as a base for their creations or a challenge requiring an empty world. Examples are: Post Apocalyptic World Rebuild Challenge by *Erika*, Nothing is Free by Avalikia, Rebuild the World [2013] created by X8_Bliss and modified by angelbearpuppy (I rescued it when the Sims forums were moved to the EA forums), etc. To save you the time and trouble of bulldozing all the buildings from my Alryne Valley Homes world for these challenges, I have provided Alryne Valley Empty with no buildings or man-made structures.
If your challenge allows a garden, you may download Wild Harvest, an 18×22 lot containing only base game plants and some seed spawners – common, uncommon, rare, and special seeds. It can be placed at 104 Garnet Ave W in Alryne Valley.
The three final versions of Alryne Valley, listed below, are available on the Sims 3 Exchange. Visit my site for details on each world. Previous versions listed in order from newest to oldest at the bottom of this post are available for download from Mediafire.
Alryne Valley Empty (Exchange) – released 3/4/25:
I have provided this version of Alryne Valley, so you don’t need to bulldoze all the buildings yourself. All of these lots are undeveloped (empty) except the diving lots. The world is completely void of all residential and community buildings. There are 49 community lots and 68 residential lots. There are no manmade structures, and all spawners located on lots were also deleted. The only spawners are in the world itself.
Alryne Valley Homes (Exchange) – released 1/7/25:
If you are a builder, or want to use your own Sims, consider this world, as there are 68 residential lots available. There are 34 custom-built homes, 3 modified apartments from the library bin, and 31 empty lots. I have also included 49 community lots, including 2 diving lots, with 6 empty. Feel free to remove any or all of my homes and replace them with your creations.
Alryne Valley Sims (Exchange) – released 1/9/25:
This world is ready to play and includes all the homes in Alryne Valley Homes. There are 68 residential lots in the world. There are 34 custom-built homes, 3 modified apartments from the library bin, and 31 empty lots. I have also included 49 community lots, including 2 diving lots, with 6 empty. The world starts with 18 households (11 families and 19 single young-adult Sims).
Alryne Valley:
Alryne Valley is surrounded on three sides by snow-covered mountains. It is a medium-sized town located on a large map to prevent the cameras from seeing beyond the borders. All commercial buildings and venues are located on individual lots (no combination rabbit holes).
The town faces Maramore Ocean and Sunrise Beach to the east…
…and Lake Atherton to the west.

~texansky~ creations showcases my creations and features worlds, homes, commercial lots, and Sims. Alryne Valley was the first to be featured. There are new pictures of the eight neighborhoods below showing the homes placed in the world.
Eight Distinct Neighborhoods:
Alryne Court Mobile Home Park is located south of town. There are three single-wide homes and three double-wide homes.
Just east of downtown is The Old Neighborhood, which consists of three homes on Orchid Way and six homes on Ivory Lane.
L-R: Orchid Manor and Marquis Corner on Orchid Way
Orchid Plantation on Orchid Way
L-R: Illustrious Author and Luxury Upgrade on Ivory Lane

Crimson Lane has six homes and four vacant lots between downtown and Sunrise Beach.
Outdoor 1st Home
Stucco Upgrade and Outdoor 1st Home
Diagonal Upgrade
Growing Starter
1st Home Pregnant
TexanSky Lodge
Sugarplum Circle to the southwest is the affluent neighborhood. It consists of four vacant 64×64 lots surrounded by twelve 40×40 lots, five of which have been developed, with the remaining seven lots vacant.
Luxury Chocolate
Vivid Roses
Green Acres
Peaches and Cream
Butterscotch Ranch
Ocean View Road has four homes and ten vacant lots near Maramore Ocean.
Ocean View Road facing Crimson Lane
Maramore Bungalow on the east side of the street
Oceanview Cabin on the east side of the street
Cookies and Cream on the west side of the street
Scientist Upgrade (contains windows and roof pieces from Stones Throw Greenhouse) on the west side of the street
Farmers Close, located in the rural area to the north, has three vacant lots surrounding an old abandoned farmstead (all 64×64). One lot across from the abandoned farmstead and two on either side of the abandoned farmstead.
Lake Atherton has a lakeside retreat, Cabin Getaway, on the west shore of the lake.
There are two empty lots along Lake Atherton Trail leading to the cabin. These lots can be used for the Sims 3 Camping Challenge (30×30) by ~texansky~ and the 112-Day Challenge (10×10) by BlackSand aka HotBlackSand. These lots are within walking distance of Lake Atherton.
My Camping Challenge and 112-Day Challenge lots, pictured below, can be downloaded from these links.
Map images of Wimborne County and Alryne Valley, below, have only the Cabin Getaway and three single-wide mobile homes placed in the world:
The northwest section of the map: Farmers Close, with three 64×64 lots and an abandoned farmhouse, is located at the top of the map. Llama Memorial Stadium is at the bottom. The road to the northwest leads out of the valley.

The west section of the map: This image contains Alryne Valley proper. Lake Atherton and the Cabin Getaway are to the left. This was the only residential property in Alryne Valley – Alpha.

The southwest portion of the map: Sugarplum Circle, the affluent neighborhood, is located in the bottom left. It contains four 64×64 lots in the center and is surrounded by twelve 40×40 lots around the outside. You can see the three single-wide mobile homes in Alryne Court to the right which I added to test the Alryne Valley beta versions 1.0.

Northeast area of map: Smuggler’s Cove criminal hideout at the top of the map and the lighthouse to the east.

Sunrise Beach is located on Maramore Ocean to the east. Crimson Lane comes from the west to the ocean and Ocean View Road goes south from there. The latest versions of Alryne Valley contain diving lots in Smuggler’s Cove and in Maramore Ocean.

Aviator Way coming from the west leads to the Alryne Airfield Terminal, Wimborne Militia, Wimborne County Junkyard, Wimborne Empirical Centre (science building), and Aedan Springs. There is an abandoned mine in the southeast as well. I replaced the Wimborne Empirical Centre below with the Landgraab Science Facility as it had custom content doors and it didn’t work as intended.
