An Uninvited Guest
~texansky~
When I loaded the game, everyone was sleeping including the pets, so I took a few moments to reorient myself to this game.
Angel has her own Cat Condo, and she insists on sleeping on the bed with Loni.
Week 4: Saturday
Loni:
When I got up, I fed the chickens (§5) and collected four eggs. None of them were bad. I finished the first beekeeping box and was halfway done with the second one when I must have agitated them. They attacked me! Once they returned to their box, I settled them down with a bit more smoke and was able to finish cleaning the box and feeding them. Despite the attack, the honeycomb and the honey were all good enough to sell at Aleister’s.
Now it’s time for breakfast! Boy am I hungry.
After breakfast, I started a load of laundry.
Christian:
I knew it was going to take a while to tend to the crops on the tractor, so I grabbed a bite to eat first. There was a ghost sitting at the table eating our food! I sat on the couch to eat my breakfast. After cleaning up, I headed outside.
I heard peeping coming from the backyard, so I went to investigate. The eggs had hatched. I couldn’t resist playing with the chicks.
Realizing it was still a bit nippy outside, I went back inside and put on some clothes. The tractor seat would have been too cold for my back without a shirt.
It’s the first day of spring, but there’s still a bit of frost on the plants.
Loni:
I headed down to the sub-basement to tend the garden there. The plants were wet, so apparently, the gardening station is doing its job. What a relief not to have to water them all by hand any longer!
Christian:
I went down to see if Loni needed help with the indoor garden, but she said she could handle it now that she didn’t have to water them anymore. I went up and cleaned the kitchen sink.
Oriole Bird had requested some fruits and vegetables, and I was just heading out to deliver them when who comes up the path to our house pushing a toddler in her stroller? Ms. Bird herself! We chatted for a bit while Lynette Bird played on the lawn.
If she hadn’t mentioned that she was pregnant again, I would have never guessed. She said it’s early yet, but she and Kenji Midden were thrilled to be having another one. Their daughter, Julianne Bird, is a child in elementary school. Lynette’s father is Kanoa Parrott, but Kenji treats her like his own child. They are hoping for a boy this time.
She asked if she could rest on the porch before heading home as it was quite a walk. I agreed and she rocked Lynette in Fred’s old rocker.
While she rested, I tucked the produce into the large pocket in the back of the stroller. She paid me §1320 for it all.
Then she came inside to change clothes as she was getting a bit chilled. I hope she covers Lynette with a blanket for the walk home as she’s wearing shorts.
I went inside and filled the pet bowl for §10. They sure eat a lot, but they run around quite a bit and need the extra nourishment.
Loni:
When I finished with the basement garden, Angel and Charlotte both wanted my attention. I gave each of them a treat, then headed inside.
Christian was making dinner. I wasn’t very hungry, so I went up to shower and change out of my grubby outfit.
Christian:
After dinner, I cleaned up and put away the leftovers. The washer was done, so I took the clothes out and hung them up to dry. Willow Fox was wandering around on the hill behind the house.
I noticed a glowing seed near the path, so I went to pick it up. I waved to Jazlyn Parrott as she passed by.
Go Home Oriole!
~texansky~ This has to be the funniest and most maddening thing I’ve ever seen! She just would not go home! This Wacky Tale is spread over two posts due to the amount of screenshots.
Oriole was obsessing over that rocking chair. I had to finally tuck it into the family inventory to get her to stay out of it! By this time it was ten at night. Then she decided to put Lynette on the ground and hop on the tractor!
She fertilized the crops and sprayed it all over Lynette! I couldn’t believe it! Poor Lynette!
I hope she finally takes Lynette home and gives her a bath when they arrive before putting her to bed.
NOPE! What kind of mother is Oriole anyway? I wanted to reach my hands into the game and throttle her!
Finally!
Psych! Oriole is a psycho!
By this time, Christian was in bed sleeping…
…and Loni decided to fertilize the crops! Loni, they don’t need more fertilizer. Stop wasting resources! By this time, I was shaking my head in disbelief wondering if Oriole would ever go home.
Apparently, they received §68 from the sale of consigned items sometime during the day, because the piggy bank balance after midnight (since it is now Sunday!) was §6645.
Loan amount: §5,000 with §50 interest payable every Friday until the loan is paid off.
