Missing Content

So, I did a complete uninstall, cleared Sims 3 from the registry (do not try this at home), and reinstalled the entire game from disc. Then I went through my list of store items to install to avoid duplicate installations of items or sets. When I started the game, my game was available to play, so I started it up. It says there are items missing. I realized I hadn’t installed the items from ATS-3 and a few other patterns, clothing and such from the Exchange. After installing all of this, it still said I am missing items.

I realized that the store installation list may need to be revised, so I am working on that now. Rest assured that I will do everything I can to make sure everything installed in the original game is installed in the new Sims 3 folder. I have even gone through the package files in the DCBackup folder to see if I am missing anything in the fresh install.

This is taking longer than I anticipated, and for that I offer my apologies. Once I am assured that I have installed everything I can think of, if it still says items are missing, I will just accept defeat and play the game with the unknown replacements.

It’s a comfort to see that you are visiting my site to check for updates and check out my other content. Keep checking back as eventually, I will resume playing this game. Thanks for your dedication in reading my stories and checking out my creations. I appreciate all of you. It amazes me that I have readers across the world. Some of the countries listed were a surprise to me, a few I knew which of my forum friends lived, so those were a pleasant surprise.

I have had over 1000 views on my texanskylegacies.com site in 2024, and it’s only August! So I have hit a milestone. Next up, 2000 views!

Take care, and happy Simming!
