Cortney Spends the Night
I went to Wright Reading Room, the local library, to learn more about sculpting, but they didn’t have anything on that topic. I met Lane Douglas there. This town sure has a lot of good-looking, flirty men.

I decided it might be a good idea if I learned to cook, so I sat down with a recipe book and began to read. I noticed that Lane was reading Murder in Pleasantview.

And again, the beast within me surfaced and frightened off another potential friend.

Humiliated, I went home to reflect on why I am this way. Was I born like this, or did witnessing my parents’ murders affect me? I decided to start a clay sculpture to try to calm myself. Once I was relaxed, I went to bed for the night, sleeping in my outer wear.

In the morning, after tending my growing garden, I found myself making strange faces and talking to myself.

I went to the gym. Before taking a shower, I decided to lift some weights to strengthen my arms. Sculpting in clay was fairly easy, but sculpting in wood and stone would require a little more muscle than I currently have.

Clearly, I needed a lot of work in that department. Why am I wearing my formal wear to work out?

I took a shower and met Cortney Schultz in the kitchen of the gym. I found him very attractive.

We discussed sculpting.

Cortney asked if he could train me. Feeling up to it, I headed upstairs for some workout pointers. For whatever reason, this time I changed into my everyday outfit to work out.

By the time I had gained another skill in athletics, we were fast friends. I feel like he may be the one. I offered him red roses, and he was thrilled to get them.

I gave him an amorous hug.

After talking a bit longer, we hugged goodbye.

I was so focused on my sculpture that nothing distracted me from the task. I feel like I have finally grasped the basics of sculpting in clay.

I finished the piece at 3:00 am and dragged myself to bed. I’ll get a better look at it in the daylight to determine if it is any good.

The first thing I did upon awakening was to call Cortney and invite him over.
The sculpture wasn’t half bad for a first attempt. It only sold for §18, but it covered the bills of §14.

Cortney and I did a lot of flirting and I finally mustered the courage to kiss him for the first time. It was heavenly.

With my courage bolstered, I asked him if he would like to be my boyfriend. He said yes! I’m over the moon with happiness. I offered him a massage and then captured the moment with a romantic photo. I can’t wait to have a wall to hang it on.

I asked him to spend the night. We watched the stars together.

The sky was bright with stars and the full moon shone down on us. I prayed that the moon would not affect me as it had in the past.
