Final Resting Place
A few days later, I met Adam Servis at the park.

We spoke for a while and then he flirted with me. His complements were flattering.

We shared a picnic. I discovered that his favorite food is peanut butter and jelly. I ate a hamburger since there was no stir-fry in the basket.

When we were finished eating, he offered me purple roses. They were lovely, so I accepted them.

We played chess together.

Of course, he beat me. I don’t think I have played chess more than a handful of times in my entire life. We chatted until it was dark, said our goodbyes, and I went home.

I paid the bills and headed for bed. Tonight, I decided to sleep in my formal wear.

I had requested that my parents’ graves be relocated to Alryne Valley. They arrived this morning. I instructed them to place their graves in the southeast corner of the property in the shade of the black gum tree on the property line.

That night, my father, Grady Forsythe, sat near the fire pit and read Under Siege and Ogre Powered.

Then my mother arrived and read South of the Simhara. I wish I had books to read. Perhaps I’ll visit the library in the morning after tending the garden.

I tended the garden and planted some more seeds that I found. I needed a shower desperately, so I jogged across the street to the gym to use their facilities. Afterward, I went to the community garden to pick some apples for breakfast.

Osvaldo Phelps was there enjoying the garden. I introduced myself. He wasn’t interested in hearing about my accomodations, so we talked about sculpting.

Osvaldo gave me some red roses, which I was happy to accept. I wonder if I will find room for them. Then I got a sudden urge to smack him with a water balloon, so I distracted him and let him have it. He laughed!

Then he told me that I was the prettiest lady in the whole world! What woman could resist a compliment like that?

I thanked him by smacking him with another water balloon! He laughed again, then gave me purple flowers.

We did some more flirting, and then he had to go. I like Osvaldo. I wonder if this will go anywhere.

I found a lovely golden lab outside the garden. I fed her a treat and we got to know one another. I wonder who her master is. She has an engraved tag on her collar. It reads Charlotte.
