Life and Death:

Precious Forsythe was having her baby, and Gobias Koffi held her hand when their son Jeremy Forsythe was born.
When Precious and Jeremy returned home from the hospital, Gobias came along to watch the baby so Precious could rest. Unfortunately, he wasn’t very good with babies. Gobias ended up putting the baby down in the garden so he could play in the sprinkler, and then he went home and left the baby outside!! When Jeremy was an infant, Precious could not afford a nanny, so she took two days off, hoping to return to work after the weekend.
Precious became an adult the day after her son became a toddler. They celebrated by playing in the garden sprinkler.
While Jeremy was a toddler, Precious was so busy repairing things around the house and keeping up with Jeremy that she missed work altogether. She could not take any more time off, so she decided it would be better for her to quit her job and try to support them in ways that would allow her to stay home with Jeremy. It was a difficult decision, but she was glad she chose to stay home. She was able to potty train Jeremy, teach him to talk and teach him to walk.
When Jeremy became a child, Precious was so exhausted trying to keep ahead of the repo-man, that she fell into bed in a dead sleep and missed the event.
As a child, the first thing Jeremy did was run outside, set up a small canvas on his mother’s easel, and began painting. His first painting sold for §11. While still learning how to paint, Jeremy saw his first deer.

On Friday, the day of his teenage birthday party, Jeremy made the honor roll. His birthday was a small gathering, consisting of Precious Forsythe, his mother, Gobias Koffi, his father, and Traci Payne, a friend of his mother. Traci bought lobster thermador.

Precious, Jeremy, Traci, and Gobias had cake. The lobster dinner that Traci brought to the party made us sick later that evening.
On Sunday, two days after his party, Jeremy spoke to Gobias on the phone for quite a while that evening. Just a few hours later, Precious was going to call Gobias and learned that he has died. Precious and Jeremy were truly on their own now as there had been no time for Gobias to change his will to include them.
