The Legacy Report – Sims 3 by ~texansky~

I decided it was time to create a domain to combine all of my blog sites into one. I currently have three on WordPress and my oldest one on Wix. My new domain name is texanskylegacies.com.

I added the domain to my first WordPress site, The Legacy Report (publication #2). You can get to ~texansky~ creations and ~texansky~ legacies by using the My Other Sites pull menu at the top of the home screen.

My very first site was called The Legacy Report (publication #1), located on Wix. It was the home of my Forsythe Legacy Challenge. Even though the challenge was complete, I played until my generation ten heir was a young adult and got married. Their bachelor and bachelorette parties and the wedding were documented under Jacob and Tamara.

This site also included some other challenges that I played (4×4 Challenge, Asylum Challenge). My Simselves game featured many Sims created by forum members started in 2016 and revived in April 2022 for a while. I hope to play it in the future.

There is another one, Shores Camping Challenge. I believe I was the creator of this challenge, but it’s been so long (November 2022) that I’m not 100% sure. I tried to search online for Sims 3 Camping Challenge, but found nothing. There is a post listing the rules that appear to have been written by me – the words I would have used, and I vaguely remember composing them. It includes eight weeks of play. There is also a draft for week 9, but I didn’t upload the images to the site, and the draft only lists the image number. I have no idea where they may be. An extensive search may be in order.

The public link to my Wix site The Legacy Challenge, isn’t working any longer. When I signed in to the site and went to the media manager, it said I used 4.2 GB out of 500 MB. I guess they changed the rules and are trying to force me to upgrade to a paid account. Not happening!

I’m in the process of transferring everything from that account to my new .com. This will take quite a while. I have already downloaded every single picture onto my external drive, sorted by story, chapter, etc. I still need to add all of the text and pictures for each story into a Word document so I can connect the correct pictures to the correct stories when I am ready to republish them. All of the pictures are named Screenshot-##.jpg, so that will be a blast!

I will also be spending some time cleaning the original WordPress site up a bit, so I won’t be playing for a while. I will be reducing the sizes of the images to take up less room and will have to replace the images in each blog post with the reduced images.
