Grand Opening

Chapter 52 of the Nothing is Free Challenge

Happenings Around Town:

After discovering that she is pregnant, Joan McKnight and Seneca Meeks decided to get married. She will be having their baby any time now.

Terry Friendly-McKnight and Keenan Bohannon-Morgan have started seeing one another. Could it be love?

Sadie McKnight-Meeks became a toddler a few days ago.

Eric has been promoted to Campaign Intern and received a bonus of §420.

Domingo McKnight-Bohannon received a promotion to Patrol Officer.

Frances Friendly has been promoted to Substitute Teacher and received a bonus of §288. Since she will need to be available when other teachers are out ill, she has gotten all inoculations from Aedan Memorial Hospital and has Simmunity to pretty much everything.

Joan McKnight-Meeks is reading a bedtime story to her step-sister Gwendolyn Levy-Friendly, the daughter of Sharon Levy-Bohannon and the late Bosco Levy-Friendly.

It’s Saturday afternoon and time to attend the grand opening of the Wimborne Gallery and Museum.

Eric is studying Mission at Noon by Lance Ng located on the upper floor.

Luke is excited to see Grandma Wholesome’s Folk-Art Thingy.

Carson is fascinated with the pair of Pete’s Living Room Chairs.

Dawn admires the Narcissus Vase of daffodils.

Frances is confused as to why there are duplicate copies of the Detention Hall Posters in the museum.

Eric appraises Puck’s Soliloquy.

Luke wants to take a picture of the Fern Keeper Deluxe. However, there are no cameras allowed in the Wimborne Gallery and Museum, so he leaves his phone in his pocket.

Carson is ecstatic with the Fern by the window.

Dawn loves the Tigervine Plant in the lobby.

Frances is thrilled by the Chaible table with the Homespun Table Lamp.

The visit to the gallery and museum did not disappoint. Other than duplicate posters, the art appraiser found just the right pieces for the museum and wonderful art for the gallery. Everyone went home happy that they attended the grand opening. Frances received much praise for introducing culture to Alryne Valley.
