Chapter 50 of the Nothing is Free Challenge
Happenings Around Town:
Tennille is now dating Fidel Calvert-Cotton. She should leave the young ones to their peers.
Anne and Domingo McKnight-Bohannon are inseparable, holding hands on the boardwalk the other day.
Domingo is now the boss of his sister-in-law Joan McKnight at Nelson’s Café.

Samuel Friendly-McKnight has passed on. He was 102. His estate was divided among his nieces and nephews: Eric McKnight-Petersen, Luke McKnight, Tristan Friendly-McKnight, Joan McKnight, David McKnight, Dawn McKnight, and Anne McKnight-Bohannon.
Unfortunately, Samuel died without reaching his Lifetime Wish of becoming an International Super Spy.

Terry, daughter of Tristan and Rose Friendly-McKnight, is hard at work doing her homework.

Gerry McKnight-Friendly called and invited Dawn McKnight out on a date. They met on an empty lot at 204 N Alryne Park Road. This is where the Good Eats Diner will be placed when another Sim masters cooking. Dawn and Gerry have hearts for one another. Paparazzi Federico Pitt is there to capture the moment.
NOTE: Gerry is the widow of Michelle McKnight-Friendly, Dawn’s aunt. This would make him her uncle by marriage, though Gerry and Dawn are unrelated by blood.

Dawn initiated the conversation by talking about school.

Gerry remembers sitting in those weird desks.

Then Gerry had to get a picture of Dawn. She doesn’t look too happy about it.

Immediately afterward Dawn started browsing the web on her phone while Gerry sat down and started typing on his laptop. They ignored one another, and she had no interactions with him, so I had her show him videos.

Dawn finds Gerry stunningly handsome, a ten. They discuss Gerry’s job at Nelson’s Café.

Out of the blue, Dawn had hearts for Domingo McKnight-Bohannon. That relationship will not go far.

Gerry spends a lot of time gaming and is proud of his skill in that area. Dawn thinks that’s great.

Of course, Dawn has to boast about her gaming skills as well. They appear to have gaming in common. Will this relationship grow into something more than good friends?

Maybe. Gerry just asked Dawn to watch the stars together.

Gerry takes Dawn’s hand and squeezes it tenderly.

Dawn: I’m glad you asked me out. I’m having a great time.
Gerry: I was worried that you would turn me down. I’m glad you didn’t. You are amazing company.

Gerry: Check out that constellation. It looks like a unicorn.
Dawn: Beautiful.
Gerry: Just like you.
Dawn looks at Gerry and blushes: Thank you.

Dawn: Thank you for watching the stars with me.

Dawn hesitates for a moment, then she decides to follow her heart.

Apparently, Gerry feels the same way about her. He deepens the kiss.

Gerry: I had a wonderful evening. Thank you for sharing it with me.
Dawn: I did too. It’s late. We’d better head for home.
David: I can’t wait to see you again. Call me?
Dawn: I will.
