Generation Two is Dying

Chapter 39 of the Nothing is Free Challenge

Lucy McKnight has mastered the bass, guitar, and piano. She only needs to master the drums to fulfill her lifetime wish. She is currently at level five of the drum skill.

Luke McKnight finished his first Humor novel, To Wit or Not to Wit. He will receive §404 in royalties each Sunday. He decided to relax by painting.

Brian McKnight-Petersen is very popular today.

First his nephew David wanted to enthuse about comic books.

Then his son Eric told him a story.

And finally, Dawn wanted to talk about the rain with her uncle.

Sheldon: Remember when Luke made his imaginary friend real?

Dawn: Yes. I want to make Fluffs real too!

Sheldon: I’ve got a potion for you to give to Fluffs.

Dawn: Thank you! I can’t wait to try it out!

Dawn: Fluffs, I have a potion that will make you a little girl. Would you like to become real?

Fluffs: I would.

Dawn gives the potion to Fluffs and she drinks it.

Fluffs: Dawn, I feel funny. Are you sure this was a good idea?

Dawn: My Dad said it works. He did it when he was young.

Frances: Wow! I’m a girl! Since I am a person, I should have a new name. You can call me Frances from now on.

Frances Friendly’s traits are Artistic, Absent-Minded, and Unlucky. She likes Classical music, mac and cheese, and the color pink.

Dawn: Frances, you have very pretty eyes.

Frances: Thank you.

David: Dad, I want to make Rags real too!

Sheldon: You do? Would you like a potion?

David: Oh boy, do I!

Sheldon: Here you go.

David: Thanks, Dad! Hey, Rags, you won’t believe what Dad just gave me.

Rags: I saw him give you a potion. Give it to me!

David: I’m trying, but I can’t. We’ll have to try again later.

Sheldon: You need to be very good friends with Rags before you can give the potion to Rags.

Holly Friendly was visiting the park when she reached the end of her life.

The Grim Reaper came to collect her soul.

Holly: I’m ready.

Holly leaps into the afterlife. She passed away at 91.

NOTE: I checked and discovered that Shaun Levy-McKnight had also passed away the day before Holly. He was 90 when he died.

Antony Bohannon took Holly’s death hard. I found him crying in the bathroom at the park.

Piper, the pet of Jim-Bob Friendly, had left puppyhood behind her and is now an adult dog.

I found Joan McKnight watching a bluebird at the park.
