Chapter 23 of the Nothing is Free Challenge
~texansky~ Ignore that Sheri is already in her wedding dress. I didn’t realize they weren’t engaged until the day of the wedding when I was getting everything ready.
Brian Peterson and Sheri McKnight:
Brian: Sheri, I have something to ask you.
Sheri: What is it, Brian?
Brian takes a box out of his pocket and opens it.
Brian: “Will you marry me?”
Sheri: Of course, I’ll marry you. I thought you’d never ask.
Brian: I love you so much.
Sheri: I love you too, Brian.
Brian and Sheri take a romantic selfie together to commemorate the moment.
Michelle is making sure that everything is set up for the weddings. She adjusts one chair and is pleased with the final result.
The household starts gathering for the weddings. Lucy decided to get a bite to eat.
Tristan is the first an only invited guest to attend the wedding.
Sheldon, Michelle, and Samuel decided to sit at the table to watch the wedding.
Lucy and Tristan sat in the guest chairs near the wedding arch.
Sheri is excited about her upcoming nuptials.
Brian: Are you ready, darling?
Sheri: Yes, I am.
Sheri: Brian, I’ve waited my whole life to meet the love of my life. I never dreamed it would happen at the University. Wear this ring as a symbol of my love for you.
Brian: I knew you were meant to be my wife the day we met. This ring represents my devotion to you.
Meet Mr. and Mrs. McKnight-Petersen.
Brian cuts the cake as Sheri contemplates the seriousness of their marriage.
The family each grab a piece of cake and gather at the reception table. Sheldon is finished, having practically run to get the first piece of cake.
Sheldon McKnight and Lucy Friendly:
Sheldon: Shall we make our way to the wedding arch?
Lucy: After you.
Lucy: Would all of you sit down already? We’re trying to get married over here!
Sheldon: Everyone is finally settled. Are you ready, sweetheart?
Lucy: Let’s get this show on the road!
Lucy: Sheldon, this ring represents my love for you. Today, you make me the happiest woman alive.
Sheldon: Lucy, my heart and everything I am is contained within this gold circle. Cherish it always.
Meet Mr. and Mrs. McKnight.
You may now kiss the bride!
Tristan and the other guests throw birdseed at the newlyweds.
Time to cut the cake. Lucy looks delighted. Sheldon is in awe of what just happened.
Lucy claps excitedly as Sheldon cuts the cake.
Everyone eats another piece of cake. Lucy opts to eat another salad.
Clockwise: Michelle (with her back to the camera), Patti, Sheri, Brian, Sheldon, Samuel, and Lucy. Tristan must have gone home.
Lucy reaches for her guitar. Her eyes are on Sheldon as she plays for her husband and the guests.
Brian McKnight-Petersen is listening to the performance. Sheri’s attention is elsewhere.
Brian, Sheldon, Michelle, Samuel, and Patty watch Lucy, enjoying the smooth sounds of the guitar.
Samuel gets his instrument and joins in, blending in perfect harmony.
