I started testing the beta 1.0 version of Alryne Valley on April 29th. So far, the only problem I have encountered is a stuck horse. I found three horses at a residential lot. Two horses were clipping one another on the sidewalk near the mailbox. The one probably got stuck between the mailbox and the other horse. I reset all three of the horses.
Other than that, the game has been pretty quiet regarding errors. However, it is basically an empty world right now. I have one residential lot with a home and garden, a community garden lot, a grocery store, and a fishing spot set to no visitors allowed. Brad is the only one traveling around town collecting gems, metals, and space rocks. Trish has been to the garden and the grocery store but mainly stays home with the children.
The only other Sims in the world are homeless service Sims, including three paparazzi. Since I have opted my active household out of the celebrity system, they don’t bother them much. I decided to just let them be. I have not encountered any tourists yet, but they may be there. I will have to check during the daytime to see if there are any. So far, I have not had any errors in the NPC Sims.
The spawners are all working as intended, though it took a couple of game weeks for a gem to spawn behind the lakeside cabin lot.
Alryne Community Garden contains only base game plants and spawns a few seeds. The seed spawners around the graveyard lot are working. Brad has found a couple money tree seeds there.
There is a spot near the cliffs where one of the gem spawners puts the gem underwater, and Sims can’t pick it up. I will be fixing this in beta 1.1.
